The reality is that many who have kneeled these past months would have done so due to pressure from the media, corporations and activists.

Once this utter ridiculous virtue signalling is over we will hear from them....probably once they retire.

I have seen myself just how insidious and unethical society is to those who differ against bandwagon opinion....the stake that sticks out is hammered down.

People lose jobs by not supporting lies as this is no longer a free society.

I'd never kneel myself, as it's not in my dna but I definitely have sympathy for those who felt compelled to by those forcing political messaging onto them.

To paraphrase an old saying, 'if you want to know who controls you, look at who you can't criticise'.

This world has lost the plot. I take my hat off to Rudiger who has come out and said he ignores all the online racism. He knows who he is and is strong enough to deal with it. Now the government is threatening to fine Twitter etc.
Simple solution. Ban ALL the players using social media. This way racism ends there overnight. The online abuse is being delivered by a load of online losers who like many nowadays don’t have a life.
I posted a while back on here when Bolasie sent one of his black Everton mates a message with monkey/ baboon emojis in it and he got one back. Now twitter say those are fine.
Basically this is all undiluted drivel nonsense. If you are a sensitive type, like most pro footballers, stay away from all this modern self adulation and you will avoid faceless racism. As most of you are snowflakes you are leaving the door wide open to these fools. Man up. Big up. Harden up and move up.

I do have sympathy for those pushed into kneeing who think they might lose their job otherwise.....However, does that extend to millionaire footballers who just want a quiet life and aren't political?

I can see their point of view but I still view them as cowards all the same.....if money doesn't buy your freedom then what's its point. But then again, most footballers' brains are in their feet.

I'm not sure someone whose solution to ending racism is to either a) stop using twitter, b) ignore it or c) 'man up' and then also hit the jackpot by blaming black people themselves for racism is even worth 'arguing' against.

There is no counter 'argument' to him - he's just completely wrong.

The current surge of twitter racism is being caused by the constant drone of the 24 hour news anti racism campaign.
