I find it amazing how those on the right are able to read things like the release of information by Twitter about how a previous management reached decisions, and be able to rewrite the laws of logic and mathematics. Making 2 and 2 equal 10 is always false. Drawing conclusions based on prejudices is always false logic.

The Twitter releases showed nothing we didn’t already know, other than a degree of uncertainty about how best to handle a situation. We might not have known that but we could reasonably have expected it.

That the right are so desperately clutching at these tiny straws demonstrates just how weak their arguments really are. I have no doubt though these are just a rehearsal and once the House committees are run by the Republicans we will have a whole lot more of diversionary froth which will waste a lot of time, reveal nothing of any consequence, and go nowhere.

My politics aren't extreme in the least and has been the mainstream for the British for far longer than yours. They made this country great and up lifted other countries in the world.

I didn’t say accepted. I said known. Whether you knew is another matter. As is indeed who knew, but enough did. I am too busy right now to answer in detail and could well be until next week, but for starters it was known that the security services alerted social media companies to perceived threats. It was also known that the social media companies took such warnings seriously and tended to react to them. Not because they were instructed to, but because to do so matched their own policies.

There is nothing to see here but the desperation of the right to regain some of the ground they are losing.
