You need a new dictionary! There's nothing pedantic or false about my comment! Now if you accused me of extracting the urine then I would have to agree.

"the quality of being too interested in formal rules and small details that are not important" [Cambridge Dictionary]

I think that is a good description of someone who Googles the height of Warwick Davis in answer to someone taking the mick.

It was you who introduced Mr Davis into the thread on US politics. I merely poked fun at it. Being pedantic requires something to be taken over seriously, which I most surely didn't over this comment and don't any of yours in general. Their only value is an opportunity for a smile or two.

As more people now regard us leaving as an error a correction of that appears justified and increasingly likely.

It's just change. It's what happens and everyone should accept it. It's our job to make it successful. Isn't that how it works?

For permanent evolutionary change, certainly, but not for things like the EU. Our joining wasn't such a "change" because we retained the ability to reverse it, just as we have the ability to re-apply for membership.

Have you an example of a 'permanent evolutionary change'?

The one eyed political narrative over George Lloyd's death has now concluded with its last conviction. I found the conviction of murder a myopic miscarriage and the idea that the other officers were involved in manslaughter ridiculous.

In many states, mainly Democrat ones, being a Police officer is a pretty poor career choice.

The punishments for criminals are lenient and in many instances not even pursued.

I guess you will spend your remaining years believing this nonsense so I feel quite sorry for you.

Your “lineage” won’t disappear at all. It might not look like you but those people won’t care about that. They will revisit what grandad or great grandad said and laugh about how funny you were in 2023. If they are going to be happy why not try to be happy for them now? It’ll be too late when you are dead.

The Neanderthals aren't laughing because they no longer exist.

It's a shame you don't understand simple extrapolation and population tipping points.

That just means that change with which you agree is immutable but everything else has to be resisted.

Permanent was a poor choice of adjective when evolution is continuous. Irreversible would be more accurate.

You would think that though, wouldn't you? It's very predictable given your general approach. Unfortunately for you, the law in the USA apparently disagrees.

Oh he does.

He's not stupid, it's just what he supports.
