I think Lampard would be a good choice. If he did for us what he did for Chelsea I would be very happy. Makes good sense. Also good follow on from Roy. Plus he is a top name in the game. Bring it on.

Dazza, The title of your thread is Meet our new manager which states that you are saying the Lampard is our new manager. Not that he may be our new manager or you have got information and it might not be correct.

Right now Lampard is not our new manager and there is nothing to say that he will be our new manager.

There is some promising talent in the U18s but I would suggest that they are not yet ready for the rigours of PL football - the chasm is enormous. How often do we see more than one or two members of a winning youth team make it to the first team? I'd be happy with Frank L - let's hope he gets more time than the last Frank Abraham and Gilmour could be wanting out at Chelski due to being too slight or small. Chelski was a poisioned chalice. He wanted to play the academy players but the club had signings planned. Ultimately Thomas Tuchel was their first choice so they got their man I've always been impressed by Frank and if Chelski have players they don't want them we'll have them.
