MP's should remember that it was their policies that allowed this cancer into our country.
Perhaps now one of their own has been killed, they might do something more to remove undesirables from this country and stop others arriving.

Don't hold your breath though.

Once again, I'm very disappointed to see a very serious topic ruined by people hell bent on disruption and abuse.

The topic is the murder of David Amess, for which there is a suspect in custody.

Whilst discussing how to improve our MPs security in the aftermath is a natural reaction, rushing to judgement about the motivations of the suspect is not.

We simply don't know anything yet, and may not until he is tried. We don't know his mental state, or his associations. Lessons may well need to be learned, but we already know that Islamic extremism exists and is dangerous. We didn't need this incident to learn that.

The immediate lessons are all about MPs security and nothing at all about what they need to be protected from.

Now you are an arbiter of what warrants a red card?

Btw , you were specifically blaming the UK as the coat tails of the US.

I am not apportioning blame, but American foreign policy following the ouster of the Russians from Afghanistan, did somewhat annoy Osama Bin Laden. Make of that what you will.

Islamist extremists are indeed idiots, vile creatures and scum.

I hope you are not calling all Muslims idiots, and denigrating their holy text, as that would appear to be so offensive as to warrant the infamous red card on these pages.

Was the suspect acting alone is foremost on my mind, and is there going to be more as a result of leaving Afghanistan.

This is a tragedy and I feel sorry for his family.

Yesterday many MPs demanded more protection and pointed out that 6/7 of them have been killed in the last 70 odd years doing their job.

I wonder how many police officers, shopkeepers, taxi and bus drivers have been murdered in the same period doing their job?

This man was carrying a knife and and MPs don't like stop and search in case it offends parts of the community.

I expect extra taxpayers money will be sent to protect them and I don't have a problem with that but every day people are murdered on our streets when are they going to do something about that.

RIP David Amess.

Good points.

The great and the good hold the reins of power and we can be pretty sure that action on MP security will be taken.

I agree with you that tragedies like this need to be far harder to pull off and I also agree that as politicians they hold responsibility for the type of society this now is.

Every murder is a tragedy.

Whilst we don't yet know the motivation behind this murder,
to my mind, there is a difference between people killed whilst doing their job, and people killed because of their job.

Anyone who murders anyone for any reason is deranged. Whether someone is insane or not is a decision made by another person. It is not a fact in the true sense.
As far as people like you are concerned, any Islamist that kills is automatically insane because it defends Islam and the influx of Islamic believers into this country. When I say it, that is because I believe that whether you brand someone as insane or not, it makes no difference. They are symptomatic of a bigger problem, and we all know deep down what that problem is, whether we want to admit it or not.

He stabbed an innocent man multiple times with a knife; how many options can you think of regarding his mental state?

But was an MP killed whilst doing his job or because of his job? Interesting point of debate, until we know why this happened.

Not so they can go to Robert dyas, buy a knife and stab an MP; the very one who defends them,to death.
When it came to you mainy as it did on 9/11 I reckon you wernt even slightly bothered.
No, muslims are idiots if they actually believe the west and westerners are their enemy. If they beleive that gays are in need of being killed, if one man is two women.
Research these points then tell me the dopey book is good.
And no I won't get a red as you wish. If you want a left wing site you are on the wrong one, try over there!

Saying Iím not bothered about thousands of people dying on 9/11 shows how silly you are, itís hard to take anything you say seriously when you spout nonsense like that.

Jo Cox was murdered by a white supremacist, born in Scotland, I wonder if England should stop Scottish people coming in?

There is an active war going on between radical Islam and Europe and America. While that war rages, blood will continue to be shed, unfortunately.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.
