I don’t agree with our involvement in this war and you cannot accept that. It’s simply not in our interest to white knight for Ukraine which has obvious and severe issues with corruption and dodgy ideologies should you care to look. Even the BBC did two documentaries on this. Zelenski is a puppet and the country is run by oligarchs that have been attacking ethnic Russians for years. Although I obvious feel for every day Ukranians that are getting slaughtered on a daily basis to no end.

It makes sense for Ukraine to somewhat be aligned with Western interests, rather than the realities of what would have happened if Ukraine had been left unarmed. You appear not to want to accept that, but are fine with Russia acting how they see fit. As I've stated via various Kremlin approved sources and Putin himself,Russia do not accept Ukranian identity as valid, and that any objection or fighting back against current Russian aggression is deemed 'Nazi'. They want to cleanse these people of their identity and you're happy to bind Ukranian hands to let them do so.

You seem to have no issue with realising that Russia has its own interests, deny their war crimes, treat their invasion and march to the Capital as if it's perfectly understandable and reasonable, and yet anything the West does is 'provocation' from West you appear to view to be something akin to a cancerous tumour. Well you keep dreaming that bending over to Putin, and emboldening his aggression is the sensible move. To my mind, slowly process dramatically may well create a better bargaining position and outlook, then if Russia had rolled through the whole country, which is something that was clearly the plan early days.

I've no idea what this is about, but i'm sure your political outlooks are as troubling for others as their views are for you. Perhaps you've allowed your worldview to warp your view of others. Typically not a good thing, even if people are acting out of fear in ways that you find unfortunate.

Honestly I can’t be bothered with any of that as you are not interested in discussing anything factual just throwing around accusations and hyperbolic conclusions. You not listening to a word I’m saying or engaging with it. I’m just the resident “5th columnists” to you and that’s not going to change.

It's impossible to even begin to talk in a serious and considered way to someone who has sunk into an alt-media echo chamber, because as I say your view of Russia has been entirely unquestioning to the point of subverviance. Whatever choices they make, whoever they wipe out, your blinkers are well and truly on. You want Ukranians to be unarmed and for what is going to happen to them to just happen (because it won't impact you) and imagine that to be all well and good. I'm saying that it was perfectly reasonable to arm Ukraine and it puts us in a position where there at least is bargaining power. You are blind to any Russian 'provocation' taking place in a situation that is largely caused by it. You as good as admit hating the west, but want me to detach that from 'your people'. You don't live in an imaginery bubble, mate. Close your eyes to the world and it's still there.

You are starting to sound a bit obsessive mate.

You said "I’ve learned over the last couple of years that a lot of people around me that are not who I thought they were and were capable of being gaslighted into acts of incredible cruelty just because they were controlled with fear. ." so I commented on it, indeed enquired. As simple as that. As I say, it appears to be your world views that are leading to a distancing from those aorund you. Not my problem, yours.

The UK’s prescribed organisations list, that includes the likes of Islamic State, should have the Russian regime added to it. Then you could be prosecuted under section 12 of the Terrorism Act 2000, as was Anjem Choudary was his support of IS.

That is frankly absurd.

I'm talking about the general population dummy. People willing to try and force other people to wear pointless masks and to consider that others should be forced to be injected or separated from society if they didn't. Things I always considered to be beyond the pale for almost everyone were clearly not and it shocked me. I just choose my company more carefully now.

"Kremlin press secretary says Geneva Conventions would not apply to two Americans feared captured in Ukraine"

Maybe we could squeeze another propoganda interview or two out of them first, as whatever they say through fear of death is fact 'straight from the horses mouth' according to our resident Kremlin voices..

Well way to apply the very worse interpretation anyway. Seems to be a theme.

Just because something happens in society that isn't ideal, it doesn't mean that viewing the west as 'malign', disbelieving anything 'mainstream' and launching full throttle into anything 'alt-media' (which has an even worse reputation for presenting very skewed perpsectives) is the answer to it. As I say your attitudes to the West and kid glove views to Russian aggression with its state approved comments about wiping our their neighbours identity where they stand in their way is a good example of this. Posting the Prisoner of War interview as if that was something that spoke in your favour said it all about your attitude.
