It’s disgusting how organisations like the ONS and IMF can knowingly publish inaccurate damning data about the UK economy to show the woes of Brexit when they know full well the data is false or hugely skewed. It’s not helped by a baying mob here who are only to happy to believe the distortion. Do you notice how the inaccurate data is always front page BBC but when the truth is revealed the errors are briefly mentioned on page 12. No one in their right mind would argue Brexit has been a complete success. There are huge problems with it but also some advantages. Lets not have the lies and agendas please. We are all weaker for tactics like those.
The beatings will stop when morale improves. |

Being a Remainer, pre the referendum was perfectly fine. Then becoming a Rejoiner was a perfectly valid political position to hold post it. My utter revulsion is for the piece of s*** who refused to accept the vote and then did everything to stop us leaving. And I do mean pieces of s***. People who only wished death on those who voted Leave. Utter scumbags is a far more accurate description.

They exist for very different reasons. One to inform, the other to be a last line of support for economics in difficulty.

Whilst I cannot disagree with this, you have to give them a minute bit of lee-way in that economics, and 'economists' are an utterly discredited group whose claims on any and everything should be treated with the same credibility given to old Gipysy ladies offering to read your tea-leaves. So so many examples that it is not even worth listing them. Second only to people who predict the impact of climate 'change'

Untrue. The term is frequently used to embrace all of those who voted to remain. Some, like myself, continue to regard it as a mistake which hopefully in time will be corrected, but aren’t moaning about the past event. That’s done. The focus is now only on the future. If a debate arises about some of the things that happened then perhaps comments will be made but only in the context of learning the lessons in the hope they won’t be repeated. That’s not moaning about the past. It’s preparing for the future. And how much of this focus and preparation is on anything other than rejoining the EU?

So if Parliament had decided that so much time had passed and that the terms of our leaving agreement so different to that which was promised during the referendum that it was wise to seek confirmation, then that was not only its right, it was its constitutional duty. It didn’t so decide but those who advocated for it were perfectly entitled to make the argument. Indeed they did so in the face of severe retribution from their Party. It was those, like Johnson, who truly behaved as pieces of s****! I heard none of them expressing death threats. Quite the reverse in fact.

It’s not an exact science so if anything works out exactly as predicted it can only ever be by chance. They anticipate a range of eventualities and probabilities. Thus predicting general trends. The same applies to climate change. We won’t know everything until it happens but we know enough to be prepared. Only fools don’t now believe it is real and that action is needed on a variety of fronts.
