What you’ve failed to realise there Willo is that in order for the female pundits to both know they’re supposed to show emotion, and to provoke this naturally, their male colleagues wave a new handbag in front of them when a goal goes in. Inevitably this can often cause over excitement and even hysteria.

There’s a woman now on MoTD who is either relatively new or I’ve lost all track of time. She usually does the smaller games (I always have Bournemouth in mind). She’s not bursting with personality but seems intelligent, amicable and knowledgeable of the game. That’s all I want really. Keep employing people for their sex, race or any other ridiculous/irrelevant parameter, and the quality will inevitably decline.

My giddy aunt !
Martin Tyler has never revealed this in all the conversations I have had with the erudite and knowledgeable gentleman over the years.

Pundits :

worst of all.......

- girlies who have clearly never kicked a ball into a net and barely know the offside-rule.

second worse............

- rude boys from West Croydon , successful footballers, who left school at age 11. And speak a language barely intelligible to any Granny living anywhere North of Watford. Innit ?

and an unintelligible scouser ?

""The average WSL salary is £47,000 a year, according to the BBC, compared with players in the Premier League, who earn an average of £8.2m.

Due to this low payment, some players are being “priced out” of playing professional football, due to the lack of opportunities. ""

47k pa is not a bad wage for kicking a ball around. Methinks the ES protests too much.

I expect there are plenty of people who would love to earn that salary.

Also...only 12 teams in the WSL and they play each other twice 1 home and away.

i will also argue that its a 'political salary' bolstered by money taken from elsewhere. Engineered Gender-Equality.

Not actually earned by revenues generated by these footballers. Cos when the girls play football the Stadia are empty, the tickets are cheap. And nobody much, on the sofa, is electing to pay-per-view for this.

Currently, the top-earning OnlyFans creator is Blac Chyna, who reportedly makes as much as $20 million per month through the subscription-based platform.
can we Engineer it that some blokes earn more than they deserve, on OnlyFans, for the sake of Gender Equality ?

Yep, like Hrolf and others have said and implied, it's a supported and overly promoted (in relation to its popularity) partly for the very reason that it is cheap and also because it supports 'progressive' politics.....which is what the entire system wants and supports....just as it did with the BLM stuff and all the virtue signaling.

What the actual average football supporter wants matters less and less.....It's similar to what has been going on in Hollywood and in other corporates.

In Ireland, the media promotion of Women's Boxing is massive. It feels like it has replaced all the publicity of the men's game. Katie Taylor & Kellie Harrington are household names....they could run for President one day, and win.

Male boxers ? anonymous.

To think that Ireland was once famous for being stout socially conservative and catholic.....it seemed to go from that to socially liberal in one generation.

That crowd of women cheering on abortion a few years ago still sticks in my mind.
