Unlikely. Willo might call for a cessation of the perpendicular position but nothing as jejune as "sit down".

Not sure what I was thinking. I must be cerebrumially fatigued.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

I attended 'Conference' on all 4 days and as ever it was a wonderful experience.

Being on the 'Right' of the party I particularly enjoyed the contributions of Suella,Braverman, Dame Priti Patel etc etc and I delighted in extending the hand of friendship with some well-known figures in the party.
My goodness, what a wonderful few days.

On HOL, I concentrate my efforts on the football discussions and stay well clear of the political debates as I regularly experience the cut and thrust of political dialogue outside this cherished site, accordingly I have nothing further to add and will continue my deliberations with my fellow Conservative chums !!

Could you give us the subtle nuances of Penny Mordaunt's oration please?

Yup None of the above should be mandatory on all ballot papers. However it wont happen as the politicians don't want to listen.

Most people who wont vote for any party stay at home which suits the parties as they are not voting for the other lot. A small group deliberately spoil their vote and as a counting officer I have seen their comments. Because the vote is spoiled they are labelled as idiots or the electoral system is confusing when it is quite clear that the voters knows exactly what they are doing.

None of the above would force the parties to listen as more people would vote.

High pitched chortles in the Willo abode.

Words, words words. Good luck to you Willo but as a disillusioned Tory voter I say "show me the money".

When they actually start turning the boats back and sending them to Rwanda I will listen until then it all BS.

Thwarted by darned judges and ECHR. I would full support a withdrawal from the ECHR.

To be truthful, I get incandescent with rage at the fact that obstacles are placed in the way of controlling our borders.
It is indeed an "Invasion" and a "Hurricane" as described by Suella Braverman.

Nothing further to add, I will concentrate my efforts in engaging in debate on the football threads.

The Tory Party must be so glad to know that whatever they do they can rely on at least one vote, from Willo.

Don’t think it will be enough though.

Jacob Rees-Mogg apparently counts Farage amongst his friends. With his antiquated language and gentile persona I have wondered in the past whether Willo was actually JRM.

Tories won't win, Labour, a disaster, lib/dems WHO? Hung Parliament. The TWO main Party supporters on HOL will do their utmost to, yet again BORE, posters with their rectoric.

I used to just write "Leave the EU" on EU Parliamentary election ballot papers before UKIP were around to vote for.

I like to wait for these things to sink in, but I really think Sunak has just handed the north back to labour.

They are welcome to it. Is dross, always was dross and even under the new labour and toot that comes with it will still be dross. The south is and always will be the heart and lungs of the UK. The rest are the extremities.
