I wanted him to join us, but there are serious question marks over his fitness. He only managed 20 PL appearances in his final season at Leeds and has barely played since with Pep even questioning his fitness in the summer. I'm trying to make myself feel better by thinking that perhaps he would have been a bad signing!!

You know if we sign them, obviously, but not other teams.

As usual…West Ham beat us to it! Could be worth looking at their squad and seeing if they have anyone suitable? The pecking order just increased by one !
