It's going to be the lack of creativity that will annoy me. Against Chelsea it should be a free hit, we don't expect to win so why not have a go. I fully expect Roy to pick a defensive looking team and for us to go a goal down early on. Then Roy will sit on his hands and not put Franca on until 70 minutes. If Franca doesn't start that will be really annoying. Yes he may not be ready, yes he may give the ball away but he has to learn so why not give him a go now, worse case we lose. I just cannot believe it has got to the point where I don't want to watch the game, I’ve spent the weekend with a sense of relief that this weekend won’t be ruined by another sound beating where we barely raised a glove! COYP - surprise us all and give it a real go!

Like to see Johnstone reinstated for tomorrow night. Henderson’s confidence must be shot to pieces after conceding eleven goals in the last three matches. Admittedly he wasn’t directly at fault for any of them, but Johnstone’s distribution is far better. I can’t see it happening though.
