4. "WWII was a pretty effective action in affecting peace in Europe"... in a sense it was, yes, in that it rid us of the Nazis and so forth (except from Spain of course). However, ask someone like Dragan if the post-war legacy really was peace. Leaving aside the Cold War, the Yugoslav conflict was one of the worst wars in history, and Yugoslavia was only "invented" in 1945.

That`s a very good post Vindaloo and I know from talking to a great many people that the likes of GAO are still thankfully a small minority in this country.The problem is that this country is being governed at the moment by that very same [ex-university student] minority.Those worthy men who fought and died in two world wars to preserve the culture and way of life of this country would be saddened to see the state this country has arrived at but thanks to those very same men GAO and company are free to express their perverse views free of the fear of reprisal.

Don't invent things in my posts that aren't there. Where have I said that everyone's good except the English? If you had the wit to read what I had actually written, you would have noticed that I have expressed the view that everyone is equal. Also, there is nothing wrong with the culture of this country, i.e. the multi-cultural society that it is today. I just don't want the sort of culture that was around in Nazi Germany.

Sherlock, if you look at the opinion polls you will see that I am actually in the majority, despite the indoctrination from ours and the American governments. It is small minded people like you who are actually in the minority.

A few points to clear up from earlier in the thread; I think Condoleezza Rice is so hated because she served as a security adviser on Bush the Elder's National Security team when they were screwing the Middle East earlier last decade. Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein hate each other as Ozzy thinks Saddam is a traitor to the Muslim faith and Mr. Hussein dislikes Al-Queda because they promote trouble in Iraq.
And the following from Bush's cabinet have strong links with oil (and automotive) companies; Dick Cheney (VP), John Ashcroft (Attorney General), Don Evans (Secretary of Commerce), Spencer Abraham (Secretary of Energy!), Gale Norton (Secretary of the Interior), Colin Powell (Secretary of State), Norman Y. Mineta (Secretary of Transportation), Andrew H. Card Jr. (White House Chief of Staff), Condoleezza Rice (National Security Adviser) and Kenneth L. Lay (Shadow Adviser to the President).
