Pardew didnt take us into the relegation zone once. We gave him the chop whilst 5 positions above the relegation places. Now you want to let Allardyce take us down and by then he's 'had enough time' I disagree. Hull have got it spot on.

We were 17th, one point above the drop zone, when Pardew was sacked:

No I want Allardyce to stop us being relegated which is something he's remarkably good at.

Your spot on, why on earth SP allowed AP to continue after the dismal performance in the second half of last season is beyond me and frankly SP has to hold his hands up if we get relegated for allowing AP's ego to over rule his head with this belief that he was an experience top six PL manager. The money AP was allowed to spend on second rate players who were no good enough for this league is also laughable and the man in charge overall has to be accountable was well at the end of the day!

Who are those? You now are calling Cabaye and Benteke second rate?

All I wanted was Tony Popovic back as defence coach

It would be nice if the signs showed it though wouldn't it! We are dispirited and soulless and that has f*** all to to with an AP inheritance

Yes I am, neither have performed well enough for me to justify wages and transfer fees paid, Benteke is lazy and not worth anything like 27-32Mil we are alleged to have paid for him an AP flop from Klopp who is no fool!

Legacy? And It is very much to do with being Pardewed, which is going to take a while to put right.

Only god knows how any of you can blame Pardew lol. He might have had an affect, because or defence was bad.. however, we always looked like a team who had a chance in a game. We've not looked like that under Sam, not even against Bolton.

We're doomed. The end is near.

So we now have established that Sam is a winner, whatever happens its Pardew to blame....? If he manages to keep us up its his sheer brilliance, if not we will still blame the bloke who has underperformed but was never in a relegation position....

And I agree the prices on Cabaye and particularly Benteke were inflated but is seems to be the case and has everything to do with TV money pouring in. And Benteke's work rate seems not too impressive, but is that at this age AP fault for getting him in? Or is BFS man management not quite as brilliant as a lot of people suggest? And last games have shown what we know: his style of football is awful. First half last Saturday we were controlling the game but it seemed the players were scared to move forward.

But we conceded goal after goal !
Allardyce has repeatedly said that unless we keep "Clean sheets" etc etc then it will always be difficult, As he said it's not 'Rocket science".Maybe in our quest to be more defensively resilient we are posing less of a threat up front - all about getting the balance right.

There is little point in trying to reason with Pardew lovers.
He was pony for 38 games - we got around 27 points in those games (Can't be bothered to check exactly) but we won only 6 of them.
AP lovers were happy with that by the sounds of things and it was a good reason for him to stay but after just a few games they think BFS should go.
Give me strength - really?
I give up.
