Abolish as many ‘controls’, state interference and layers of government as is compatible with the provision of justice, law and order, defence, social welfare, and eduction. Thus leaving the greatest scope for the people themselves to determine the content of their lives.

I do, but my company donates regularly to donkey sanctuaries - I'd happily allocate my tax from MP's pay rises and decorating cabinet ministers offices to animal sanctuaries.

I'm a softy when it comes to animals.

I only like animals in a bun or a pot of glue.

How about we all lived in almost impenetrable cells that no one could interfere with? All self contained and all communication was made via chat windows where you could block anyone that annoyed you. Big savings to be had, you'd have very little concern about national security, they couldn't burn down and you couldn't be robbed. Plus you wouldn't need to elect a government, you'd be on your own personal soil (not literally) at all times and laws would be defunct. Do what you like.

And the population could be controlled by randomised closure of the glory hole portcullis.

Oddly, that's how I feel about most people.

I went out with a pot of glue once. She was a bit stuck up but we became quite attached in the end.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Sure, in that we should have a free economy and society rather than a state run economy and society limited by the horizon of the few in government rather than having faith in the limitless resources and possibilities of the people themselves.

By liquefying the dead and feeding it through an elaborate system of pipework.

Libertarianism, I must admit that I'm quite partial to left and right of centre libertarianism. The more extreme swings to the right and left seem a bit to idealistic. I could live with centre-right libertarianism.

And I certainly believe in governments being bound to deliver to its citizens, rather than themselves and their cronies.
