Those are questions - what is your point?

My point is that the BBC and sky come across as all angry but don't state who they are angry with.
They chuck the words condemnation around but at who? Fake news is what I see.

Given that so much of this thread has been taken up with those vehemently opposed to Trump complaining heavily about 'Russian' meddling I'm curious what they make about the recent revelations against Google election meddling for the upcoming 2020 elections against Trump.

I think anger is a valid tone when you’re dealing with the death of a 2 year old, as is outrage.

I’ve read both articles, and they seem entirely factual, so I’m not sure what part is fake? Fake news generally refers to fabricated news stories or deliberate disinformation; given this is based on a real event, I have no idea how it can be categorised as such.

I have to wonder about you. There are some seriously weird contributors to these threads but most at least try to address the subject.

I can assure you that in the location I am in the local spelling is Caribou. You would have to dig deep to know why but it is the local dialect of a regional language. I checked that with my wife and that's what they were taught. The teaching here isn't up to much to be fair.

Why this seems to matter so much to you amazes me. Not for the first time you seem intent on trying to find reasons to make personal criticisms which have nothing whatsoever to do with the subject.

All I did was make some light hearted observations yet here we are again with you posting pointless responses. I think you were warned, and then put on the naughty step for a while. Up to you of course and certainly not up to me but I would stop now if I was you.

You seem to have some creepy fascination with me. Following every step by the sounds of it with me when it comes to HOL activities

obsessed are you ?

It's simple...

I understand your protection and apologetic views on Muslim grooming gangs, which intern, makes your comments about "kids not being angels" more understanding and your love of Asia

You need a medal for moderating this site and wading through this absolute nonsense on a daily basis.

I hope its not unpaid!

I don’t know the point, because he hasn’t made one - you have a very overt habit of jumping to the defence of anyone right-leaning on here; it’s a bit odd.

How is that odd? If I share the same general perspective it's hardly odd is it.

I have a very low opinion of how the BBC website is run nowadays.

I see you chose me again to respond. Eventhough, It's six of one and half a dozen of the other.

When you say us, do you mean the mods, or every one?

As for childish behaviour, give it a rest I give as much as I take.

I asked him if he'd prefer me not to respond!as us kids do...!

He's failed to stop harrassing another poster on here, eventhough he's been asked to stop.

Not sure but I think that's in your rules.

And less of the childish remarks,if you don't mind, unless that message is conveyed to both parties.

All my post are tounge n cheek so get overself ME, if you can't even get that obvious fact.

They used the word condemnation , who are they condemning in this case?

I apologise to others but I cannot let that stand without rebuttal.

I can assure you I am not "following" you! I "follow" no-one here although I read some with more interest than others simply because they generally have something intelligent to say. You are not included in that group.

I didn't even notice who posted the comment I responded to. If I had I might have refrained from responding knowing the kind of nonsense which often follows. I just responded to the post. Not the poster.

I won't bother to respond to all your attempted further personal insults. I might disagree with some here over the way that we ought to handle things like "grooming gangs" but you won't find anyone more supportive of the need to ensure that any criminal be identified, prosecuted and punished under the law, without fear or favour and following due process. As someone who has reported suspected pedofile activity to the Police here in the past I do though take particular offence at your snide last comment. Now go away.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

You have some cheek saying that.

I anticipated that! You are though wrong. I will explain why.

Whenever I respond to you, or any other poster, I try to address the argument and not just attack the poster in personal terms. The decision on whether to read or respond resides only with each member. Being human I might fail sometimes but if that is pointed out I will apologise.

In the case in question the posts have been entirely personal so having corrected some of the insults it is hardly cheeky to request the offender to go away.

Should they respond to an argument I have made with reasoned counter arguments, and not personal insults more suited to a playground, then that's another matter.

I learned on Catholic web forums many years ago to condemn the sin but not the sinner. I try to remember that and apply a similar principle.
