Yes, all MPs are now that much in danger.....it isn't nice but that's how polarised this issue has become.

Those who put themselves in that firing line have chosen to willingly....that's on both the leave and remain side.

You can't go over the top and expect the opposition not to fire....the modern left are all about censorship and control of language.

The exact opposite of the left I grew up with.

This is a pretty scary post.

Jo Cox's husband was furious that someone was using her death to try and score political points and I can't say that I blame him

This is a pretty scary post.

It was a pretty scary afternoon and evening with one Labour MP so apoplectic with rage (real or pretence) that I thought he was going to explode.

The media have made much of the rowdy behaviour and language used but I doubt whether many saw it unfolding as I don't think that either BBC News Channel or BBC Parliament Channel are that popular.

The BBC website this morning leads with "Boris Johnson faces backlash over 'dangerous' language" and go on to write that he used words like "betrayal" and "surrender act" which most readers will probably find amusing as they are hardly examples of dangerous language

surely the speaker, and particularly this one, was happy as there was no major interventions that I could see.

I suspect you are making reference to Barry Sheerman who was a-boil akin to burning milk,self-combusting,hissing scowling and glaring with steam coming out of his ears.

Yes I am in total agreement that "Betrayal" and "Surrender" are hardly examples of dangerous language.

Yep. I hope he was aiming it at the remainer MP’s who brought her memory into the debate leaving Boris having to reply. Obviously not. If they didn’t want to receive the feelings of people who feel their vote didn’t count because they’re going to do whatever it takes to delay and cancel Brexit then they know what to do.

Cue Wisbech in Truro telling me and us the job of an MP and Parliament in 7 paragraphs for the 7946th time.

Boris should’ve replied without using her name and just say they need to allow an election and allow Brexit to take this country out of the stalemate they refuse to stop and get this country back together again.

By bringing Jo Cox's name into the debate as a tactic to control language they heightened the level of sensitivity significantly and indeed brought the memory of that event straight to any nutcases out there wanting to hear it.

And they have the cheek to complain about words such as 'betrayal' and 'surrender', words that are entirely appropriate for their actions.

Yes I saw it as a tactic suddenly brought in by all of them on the same day.

These remainer MP’s are becoming more and more like primary age school girls raising their hands going ‘’Miss, Miss, he did this, he said that’’ after they haven’t got what they want or being treated special like at home. They want everything their way. Stop this, stop that, can’t do this or that, it’s all unfair, we claim this, he’s nasty, we’ve done no wrong, oh and we’re thinking of censoring the PM now as well. They aren’t fit for purpose. They’ve brought this on by trying and succeeding in delaying and trying to cancel leaving. They claim or think they’re so pure but get more and more desperate.

They really, really aren’t.
