It isn't either.

Its the cumulative effect of the attitude being displayed by the current version of the Tory party and their refusal to acknowledge the supremacy of Parliament over the executive. Yesterday's debacle was only the tip of the iceberg.

The fact that an individual MP can take a different line to that of the majority of the voters in his constituency in a referendum ought to be vigorously defended by everyone in Parliament, including the government, as the fundamental cornerstone of our democracy. Those electors put that man into Parliament to represent them and not just be a puppet mouthpiece for them. Much more needs to be done to explain and defend that principle.

That Johnson's government encourage the "we will do what the referendum result told us to do" chorus is one of the reasons that people are getting threatened. So that and careless words are the reason. The blame lies solely at the government's door.

And while we’re vigourously defending this who defines what constitutes treason?

Listen to these feminised old men talk about the nation's women as though they are socialist activists.....dream on comrades.

Once things start Johnson will charm them like he does most normies and the liars in parliament will get the political arse kicking they so rightly deserve.

It is this that I genuinely struggle to get my head around about people campaigning for a second referendum. It achieves nothing because a precedent for ignoring the result is cemented by holding a second one with Remain on the ballot box. Referendums cease to have any validity and as such, zero credibility. Lets assume Remain win and millions of us refuse to accept that. What are our opponents going to accuse us of? Being undemocratic? Not understanding how it works? LOL. It will be farcical. Part of me actually wants it to happen just to see the pathetic w***ers who wanted it trying to defend it all.

Makes no sense what so ever. Remain lost. That simple. And yet here we are, over three years later and still having this argument. Utterly fraudulent on every conceivable level.

Varients of Leave, that I get. And even a Parliament that decides to revoke A50 because it claims it knows better than the rest of us. Once again, perfectly within its legitimate, if not moral, remit.

But to want us to have to relieve the ghastly ordeal all over again with the losing option of 'Remain' on the ballot paper and then, with straight faces, tell us it will help 'heal' the nation? Simply beyond any logical or rational comprehension.

All the t***s campaigning for a second referendum want it for is to maintain their own self-image as the good guys in all of this. The pretty bright young things. They love the planet, a large % of them are vegans, think Gay people are smashing and just LOVE a tranny along with Muslims (but only the cuddly ones. Not those nasty ones up in Birmingham and protesting outside of schools. Those we don't talk about because if we keep quiet they will just slink away).

But above all else...DEMOCRATS. Passionate believers in the right of people to vote. Encouraging it in fact. Keen for more people to do so.

Until 17.4 million of them do and you don't like the outcome.

For any campaigner for a second referendum reading this then I urge you to find a mirror in your house (I suspect that for most of you this will not be a problem) and take a good hard look at what an utter f***ing w***er looks like. One who is, when all said and done, desperate to over-turn 17.4 million votes. To consign them to the dustbin of political history.

You aint a democrat. You are a Nazi. A Communist. A person who believes that you vote should count for more than mine.

Be honest about that. Celebrate it. Good luck to you. But don't ever kid yourself, anymore, that you are a democrat. Because you ain't.

Oh. And Brexit does not go away until we leave the EU. Might take a few more weeks. Perhaps months. Even years. But we are leaving, come hell or high water. Only question is how much blood do you want on your hands before then?

I hadn't contemplated the effect on women voters but it's a good and strong point. The idea that their families are also being threatened will weigh heavily in some minds. It isn't just the women who are affected of course, but they seemed genuinely frightened.

What??????

Why on earth would women voters change their stance just because of a couple of over hysterical, squawking northern fishwives?

This is the 21st Century you know!

Everyone, whatever their personal political persuasion, really ought to be comfortable with such a concept. Is finding common ground and working towards the common good such a hard thing to accept? NO calling someone arrogant is not an insult. Dictionary meaning just for you: "having or revealing an exaggerated sense of one's own Importance or abilities"
AS for saying your "New club" is a load of tosh you have to just look at all the losers who have joined it and should see it is going NO-WHERE any time soon.
You really do come out with a load of rubbish at times, in fact most of the time its the same old repetitive copy and paste answers you post that we are all fed up with.
If your club was so good why did the commons get at each others thoughts and still are?

It won't stop the disingenuous tosh but it certainly serve as the riposte that certain individuals require.

Not necessarily as the crafty deserters to the Lib Dems seem to be moving from their existing seats to ones that they have a better chance of winning.

I imagine that Luciana Berger will get the Jewish vote in Golders Green irrespective of which party she belonged to

Well, whatever the result it will be a far more honest reflection of the nation's judgement......because as stated most of those there stood on manifestos that said they would respect the referendum result.

There are still significant numbers of Jews left? I bet it's far less than it was.

Johnson's inheritance was a minority which could operate by bribery of the NI MPs.

Now we have a genuine minority of -43.

That is before yesterday and its effect on lady MPs, expect a further exodus there.

After yesterday, the public, especially women voters, could have turned against the government.

I'm hoping that parliament can really put the boot into Johnson next week.

Who is it now that is running away from a GE?
Oh yes.
The opposition.
Ha ha you've been on the laughing gas.

The Jewish population has been decreasing for years.

That said, they still have huge (and I do mean huge) wealth and influence.

The world is run by the Jews.
