another stabbing; a delivered motor cyclist in finsbury.
No clear motive but road rage or robbery.
Annoyingly, according to corbyn the gig economy had a bearing on it.
What a f***ing w***er that man is.
Political point scoring.

Mr Corbyn could help protect delivery workers by supporting the police and calling for tougher action on knife crime.

How exactly is an employer expected to protect their staff in a road rage incident? Maybe if they gave them a 35 hour week contract they wouldn't get stabbed?

Or they could all have a security guard with them.
Pizza would cost £50 and goodbye to 10k jobs.
I'm sooo glad labour lost.

Exactly.

I have reservations about the gig economy and zero hour contracts and I do think some changes are required to stop employers exploiting their staff.

That said if you are someone who needs to work irregular hours such as a university student or a stay at home parent it's a really good way of earning money doing hours that suit you.

Corbyn would throw the baby out with the bath water.

And how many Labour run councils employ people on zero hours contracts?

Low life who attacked a police officer with a machette.

[Link]

The scum was found guilty of wounding with intent however he was found not guilty of possession of an offensive weapon. Are you serious? What the hell was the machete? A toothpick?

You will be shocked to learn he had previous

"The jury was told the defendant had a conviction for rape in 1982.

And in 1997 at Snaresbrook Crown Court he was convicted of two offences of wounding with intent for an unprovoked machete attack on a tenant and his friend for which he was sentenced to nine years in prison."

The judge better throw the book at him

To be fair, the gig economy has expanded far beyond that usage base....which I agree with you is an advantage for a small segment of us.

However, for many unskilled and semi skilled workers, who are limited in choice of profession, it's their only option. So in that regard the left have a valid point insomuch as in too many regards it becomes business unfairly exploiting workers (just not all).

Country has gone to the dogs.

All wonderful celebrating diversity until you have to directly deal with people like this.
