You know, there are posters who are ITK and say so, some who say they are ITK but are not, and some who are actually ITK but don't say. I am not going to trawl the pages to find out who, but months ago when we were whining about our post Lockdown form, one poster accepted that we have too old a squad but, significantly, said that the club are addressing that. At the time, I wondered what he meant and how did he know this. It was before Cat 1 was announced; and before the club dived into other teams academies and sought players of the U23 variety. The only long in the tooth player we are seriously linked with is Welbeck. Thus... How did he know?

We've also been addressing it by taking on a lot of players from other cat 1 teams on trial with a view to signing that isn't reported so much by the media. We had James Clark, Harlem Hope, Alfie Matthews and a few others in the last U23 game that are all from the likes of Chelsea, Southampton and Arsenal. Our Cat 1 status has enabled us to be much more attractive to these guys.

with a few days of slow news on the transfer front bar the brazilian (no sure if this was mentioned by any of our ITKs) but would be good to hear some inside info of whats going on, any new names, how close are we to Gallagher etc

Don't. feel you've got to mention strikers by name, as some deals are best done in whispers as it were, but any indication that the club is trying to sign 13 strikers as it were, would be grist to the rumour mill!

But no doubt all this has been found out during training....I'm assuming he's going to stay as a left sided player. If he stays fit this season how he's used will be interesting. And fairly early on if not next week we'll have Eze and Gallagher in the squad ....but no strikers, and no return date fixed either
