"There is nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months."

How odd. During the campaign:

"We're eight months into this pandemic, and Donald Trump still doesn't have a plan to get this virus under control. I do." (15/10/20)

So was his plan to do nothing to change the tracjectory of the virus then? Would have been nice if any of the press provided some scrutiny of this "plan" during the election.

It's amusing that during the campaign several posters on here were telling us that Biden wasn't a liar, when he's done little else over the last forty years.

Biden will worsen just about everything in America, but the left won't care because 'orange man bad' made up their entire perspective.

It's a dangerous time in more ways than one.

My wife is indeed Filipino. Apparently, from her own observations, there has been a movement of EU health workers away from the UK ever since we decided to leave the EU which has accelerated in the last year. We can only speculate on why!

Matching that there has been a recruitment drive in the Philippines to replace them. The problem is the timing. New staff from places with different practices have to undergo a period of assimilation and re-assessment before they get their "PIN" (for nurses). This is putting additional pressure on an already under pressure service.

I know that the EU workers could stay and indeed could obtain visas, provided they meet the criteria, but some at least have decided, for whatever reason, to abandon ship after Brexit.

Aside from this not really having anything to do with US politics, I think this is very concerning isn't it?

Biden rescinds Trump's ban on Chinese involvement in US power grid?

Imagine my shock.

Still, you get what you vote for.

When your one aim has happened and been successful it's a bit like what's the point.
Similar to demob after the war.
No plan on what to do with the returning soldiers.
The dems are not policy strong in any capacity apart from reversing all of trumps decisions and creating equality by making everyone poor.
Good luck america, you are fecked.

Yep, it's not looking good for them.

Still, at least you can now state your pronouns on their government website and choose the bathroom that suits your personally chosen identity.

Trump was about reducing military involvement and he did. That policy was opposed by the Democrats.

So I think it's a little misplaced to suggest there is little difference....there has been a significant difference between the Democrats and Trump on this....it's not like it doesn't matter.

Point being, the criticism made is a couple of days into a Presidency and something the previous President was responsible for. I certainly agree with Trump's approach to winding down military involvement overseas more than most of his contributions, but perhaps two years into a Presidency will be more revealing of the new administration's approach to war than two days.

Because 'wait and see' was so afforded to Trump wasn't it. So while, on a fairness level I tend to agree with you it kind of sticks in the stomach.

Another problem with 'wait and see' is that the Democrats have made their positions clear for years.

Biden's should probably avoid the toilet in Airforce One for a couple of days. Trump left his deposit for him.

For those on the right looking for a laugh, here's some satirical takes on the US Democrats and Biden....read them while you still can.

What you mean wait and see we already know your acting like this is Biden first time holding office.
