A caretaker manager would in my opinion be a catastrophic move. Not only would it hinder any recruitment of players it would also unsettle what few players we have and just kick the can down the road again. Have we learnt nothing from the current debacle caused by delay and indecision? Do we really think that a team in the bottom 3 or 4 in December is going to be a more attractive proposition to anybody ?

Collins signed for £12 Million + add-ons.
I have seen him at Stoke, playing both in a back three and at right-back.

Nel Warnock has signed a contract extension at Middlesbrough until the end of the coming season.

They have made 1 signing thus far in the close season, goalkeeper Joe Lumley on a Free from QPR.

Alan Pardew is Technical Director at CSKA Sofia.They finished 3rd in the league last season.

Allardyce is a short term expensive option for a club trying to avoid relegation. The only loyalty he shows is to his bank manager. Appointing him is an admission that we are in the mire. We are not ... not yet at least.
