The only thing protecting Biden is the fact that the houses are marginally Democrat at the moment.

He will be investigated when that changes. We know that Biden has been linked with his son's dealings and there is the photo evidence to prove it....also Hunter Biden's former business partner has stated that Biden was the 'big guy' mentioned in emails.

I have no doubt that if the Democrats lose both Houses he will be investigated and American politics will take another nosedive as a consequence. I also predict nothing of substance will be discovered.

I also have no doubt that those using Hunter were trying to get to his father and referred to him as the Big Man. I expect the same to be true in thousands of similar situations all over the world.

What’s lacking is any actual evidence of wrong doing. If there is any let it be found and due process proceed. I don’t believe that will happen because I don’t think Joe Biden is that stupid. We’ll see!

So now you want to discredit a man from being chosen to be POTUS because his son clearly has some issues. Issues exacerbated by events in his life over which he had no control. That really takes some stomaching!

I have never defended "mass rapes not being prosecuted"! That is just another of your misrepresentations. Indeed, the opposite is true. I have argued that anyone suspected of such behaviour should be found and due process followed.

What I have done is criticise those who made those whose job it was to do this much harder than it needed to be. I have also expressed sympathy for the over worked, under resourced police trying to handle this in the best way, given that they were also probably being asked to be social workers at the same time.

The priority is that these crimes stop. Locking away some criminals whilst others roam free doesn't do that. Having to judge the most effective method to achieve the priority, given the resources available, is not something I am qualified to do, and nor, I suspect, is anyone else posting here. Parroting the Daily Mail is easy, but it doesn't help a single vulnerable child.

“Turning a blind eye” is political spin. The kind of thing to be found in the Mail or Express.

I don’t believe any police force or social service would ever do such a thing. They might, and it seems did, adopt another strategy but I feel sure they would have remained aware, have tracked the situation and made arrests whenever the opportunity arose.

What mattered then, as now, is to find the best way to safeguard the maximum number of vulnerable children as possible, with the resources available. Extracting society’s retribution has to wait.

It’s unfortunate but there is no way I know to produce police officers out of thin air.
