Yes,hard to see any upside.

Gallagher is of course on Loan to us and he has been a positive influence.

You would have to think de Beek would want to make an impression too. If only to get a transfer. He's been frozen out and bound to want to prove a point.

Sure Willo.

However, the true reality of us next season is no Gallagher, no VDB and no Zaha.

I'm not seeing much longer term planning in terms of the first team.

As usual a very good point. Nice to see the end of your hibernation, I have trouble typing in cold weather!

Perhaps it's just my imagination but i've always thought that Donny van der Beek was dutch for Donald Duck!

As much as I love Eze, he's not looked the same player since his injury. It will of course take time, but there's no guarantee he'll get back to the level he was at before. Sadly there's no room for sentiment and if we had the Cup Final tomorrow, you'd take DVB over Eze for sure. I personally see Eze as a wide player who can cut in rather than and out and out number 10.

I agree that we'd need Kouyate in there too against physical sides, but having Gallagher, Hughes and DVB competing for two spots and having the option to bring one of them off the bench will give us something extra.

He’s not looked the same since coz he’s played 4 games and not completely match fit .he’s already showing glimpses, what did you want him to do come back where he was at the end of last season you absolute tart. And you think his best position is wide , yes he can play there but everyone knows he’s best centrally , thank god your not manager 😐

Why no Zaha? Have I missed something or are you speculating? He is under contract till summer 2023.

Speculating.

I can't see the club letting him run out his contract and letting him go for nothing.

I've seen a tweet from Alex Turk (Man U connection sports reporter?) stating that loan deal is done. Don't know how reliable Turk is.

Apparently according to Romano on Twitter Everton/ Lampard want him now.

IMO he'd be a nice addition, but not an absolute must in terms of battling with Everton over loan fees etc. They'll definitely be more desperate than us at the moment, and likely to pay over the odds.

We'll see I guess.

I think Wilf will be staying....who’s going to buy him...he’s not even first choice for Ivory Coast which is a little surprising...I would have him in front of Gradel every day of the week.....
