Some of those claiming they are economic refugees on the news reports were showing journalists photos of children etc on nice new smartphones (Galaxy S6 etc) and wearing Lacoste clothes Economic ?
Barrel bombs don't discriminate and just target the poor in Aleppo.

The Jews are probably one of the best cultures at integrating into host countries. They have even been Prime Minister here....Not bad for such a small population. As for risking death at sea.....I and others don't advocate allowing people to drown. I always supported picking people out of the sea. They should be held in camps in the border countries and the EU should pay for the upkeep until shipping them back to Syria.....How about we send them to the US.....You lot have loads of space. As you say the Jewish have not been able to integrate any better than some of the groups you mention yet have been here for say a millennium at least; unlike the Hugenots, the French escaping the Revolution or even every day Pole before WW2, for a random sprinkling. Perhaps the French and the British are closer than they believe? Personally I would be happy to have them in the States, after all its a country of immigrants.

Its all well and good showing pictures, as has been done on here and also in the news, of poor drowned children, as it only proves that their parents did not look after them. Would you get crammed on an old boat with hundreds of people knowing that a lot don't make it?? The people we see in the news are full of people shouting screaming and bellowing at the people who have saved them or are trying to help them and all dressed well and holding the latest phones????? Something wrong there in my honest opinion and my thoughts are WHY don't they sort the mess out in their own countries there are enough of them to do something. We just cannot let this mass exodus carry on and Europe needs to start getting hard and send them back. In our case the UK is a small place compared to Germany and we will sink rather than swim if we let many more in from the thousands flocking here. I agree with Cameron when he says that the source of the problem needs sorting out and not just stick a plaster on and hope it goes away. I do feel sorry for the young children that drown and the ones who do make it but I feel nothing for their parents. You only have to look at the mouthy men and women outside the station in Hungry. They do not look war torn to me dressed the way they are. Europe has to make a stand and say enough is enough in my opinion. The truth hurts but that's the way the cookie crumbles!

love it how refugees have to be badly dressed and unkempt to garner a smidgen of sympathy from the mean-spirited. They do have charities and kind hearted locals and even tourists who try to help. You know, clothes, a razor here and there. Some people still try to like to retain some dignity by being clean.

The left loudly wet their knickers because he used the word 'swarm", conveniently diverting the attention away from the main gist of what he was talking about.
Do they? I know a lot of left wingers and none of them seem to think immigration should be unregulated

I can understand both sides but when dead kids are getting washed up on beaches and people are using words like 'free loaders, the lot of them' it really does shine a light on the very worst side of human nature.

I don't think that the vast majority don't care about the plight of refugees. It is just that perhaps they are more concerned with the effect their coming might have on their country and therefore their nearest and dearest.

I have some sympathy for women and children to an extent but what are these young men doing running away? They should be fighting IS. Personally I doubt the worth of people who have no pride in their own country enough to not fight for it. What about the Syrians fighting IS.....Where is the money and aid for them?
