But according to your oft repeated statement, the politicians are the very people who are elected to do what's best for the country - ergo if they want to leave (with or without) then that must be the better thing for the country than remaining as the 'experts' want.

Surely that's the whole point of democracy, as you keep telling us - politicians doing what is right.

Of course, but there happen to be more that disagree. That's democracy.

Look it up what's your problem.

My problem is when a Brexit supporting poster quotes a statement/article which is pro-leave/ anti-EU, they are asked to supply a link by Remain supporting posters (what is good for the goose and all that)

I couldn't make a link from the page.

If you type in 'Turkish army pension fund' then take the BBC website option it is in front of you, ok?

Corbyn announces plan for caretaker government.

[Link]

However the Lib Dems have already turned him down. He may just may get enough votes to win a no confidence vote but judging by the reaction of some of the other parties he won't have enough to form a government.

Once again this parliament is showing its against everything and for nothing.

No deal and possibly a general election straight after....scrummy.

Things are going well.

I hope you are right but until it happens I wont believe it. The establishment have many tools and allies to stop it they have already started a legal challenge.

You know I’ve been saying Brexit will result in the US and others forcing us to reduce food standards and give private companies the more lucrative areas of the NHS?

Well, the first is getting ever closer.

That story is getting borring. I bet loads of people wash their fruit under the tap before they eat it, common sence tells You to.

Secondly I'll bet my house most of the remoaners that have been to the U.S. have eaten chicken and none have questioned if it's been washed.

The remoaners are really clutching at straws, but I guess they Can enjoy their throat killed chicken that's had a song played to it, nope nothing wrong with that is there.
Rolls eyes

And in any case if your really worried about EU standards.

Chlorine wash chicken is just an excuse the EU has used to protect it's farmers. The EU report clearly stated there was no problem with a chlorine wash which is used in pre packed salads. However its did state that use of it "might" lead to a lowering of compliance to health standards. In other words the abettor workers might get lazy and not do their job properly. Well you could say that about anything.

In any case we do not have to sign a trade deal with the US if we don't want to. We have managed to trade with the US so far without one. Part of taking back control is for Parliament to make these decisions.

Provided it is for a short time I think that is quite reasonable from JC.

But any hint of unity over brexit is shot down immediately, it has no chance.

Every MP has his/her own brexit and they are not budging, it is like 650 dictators.

Even Her Majesties broadcast for unity bombed.

You know what I think, scrap it before there is civil war.
