I bet those who disagree with the celebrations in the US, celebrated when Thatcher died.

I certainly celebrated when the mass murderer and US lackey (and friend of Thatcher) ,Pinochet died....

Did you? Or,Like Maggie, did you view him as a "friend of freedom"?

a prime example of the type of US support for human rights in the region over so many years...

But's,let's not mention it because the stench of hypocrisy would hurt our eyesand would distract from the evil fall guy erected by the US called Fidel...who had had the temerity to kick the US-run sex trade, casinos and organised crime out of Cuba after he came to power...so was punished, pushing him into the arms of the Soviet Union,

Did you? Or,Like Maggie, did you view him as a "friende of freedom?

The CIA send an ex-lover to kill Fidel with pills to put in his drink - but he susses it - and gives her a pistol - but she can't shoot him - he knows that - they then make love passionately.

Quite a life RIP bad or good

So what you and your left sided pals are saying it's bad to be a right wing dictator/mass murderer but if he is a socialist, communist dictator/mass murderer that's OK then, harmless lovable kinda chap.
The hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds.

If you knew your history you might not be so stupid as to make pinochet your example. Come back once you've done some research.

Read my comment on the previous page Legal, about Pinochet.

As you obviously didn't read it, or believe it, I will repeat it. Whilst I would have admire his economic policy, because he was a mass murderer, how could I support him or label him a 'friend of freedom'?

There is nothing to romanticise about Pinochet. Just like there is nothing to romanticise about Castro. But still give out your 6/10 marks, presumably for quick kills and mass repression.

So, you celebrated the death of Pinochet and Castro? Sure you did.

Both were murdering b******s. One left a country that now has a somewhat functioning economy and democracy, the other left an economic basket case that is as oppressive as ever, but at least he managed to provide good healthcare to the elite and passed that off as progress.

It's no wonder things are so screwed up, when seemingly intelligent people are so dogmatic.

A plague on both their houses.
