He's getting about £6m to leave the job early. Well done to him. He will have no shortage of offers to save another club once managers start getting the sack in October next season. With the bonuses to stay up and the payoffs he'll be rolling in it.

We conceded 1 goal from set pieces I believe under Pulis. Hull conceded about 20 under Silva in a similar time frame. He may well do well at Everton, but he's still not brilliant and I'm glad he's not our manager.

His track record is continental football so it’s hardly surprising in this league that his teams were targeted at corners successfully. No one can tell how he’ll do at Everton is the truth of it.

One thing seems clear - if he fails at Everton, given his previous failures at Hull and Watford his reputation will take a hammering and he will probably have to go abroad to seek employment.Time will tell of course !

Take the money out of football and this might change and so might survive with whatever football it takes.

Edited by Willo (16 May 2018 10.52am) Possibly not a good choice with regards to our squad depth but he’d be taking over a disciplined team behind the ball and confident in possession so it would suit him more than people think. He was always the best choice out of the younger and fashionable ones available last summer but almost everyone ignored the best in Roy.
