This is what I was arguing we need to at least a week ago. Those who have been vaccinated have every bit as big a right to be protected from the unvaccinated as they have not to get vaccinated. Not just ourselves but the NHS who we rely on. My wife is working a night shift in a stroke ward. Imagine that place is her hospital get overwhelmed by covid patients.

Just that you’ve mentioned several times that we have to be vaccinated to protect the NHS. Countries where they pay for medical treatment don’t have the same incentive.

Honestly can't think of another vaccine in my lifetime where the unvaccinated are blamed for the failures of the vaccine.

I mean the fact boosters (just another dose of the vaccine) are likely being rolled out every 3 months is a bit of a red flag surely?

I've taken 2 covid tests in the last couple of days & both have come back negative however I'm convinced I'm coming down with it.

I've been keeping an eye on death rates and the number of people admitted to hospital so far they are fairly flat to slightly up but bear no relation to the huge spike in infections.

I think this predictions of 6000 deaths a day are scaremongering.

Keep calm and carry on get your booster and wear a mask we shall be fine.

This is what we have except for you should work from home rather than must. However, we pretty much had it the whole time anyway - there is no testing here, just vaccine or recovery certs.

Scare mongering has been a huge part of this whole national experience.

I find myself increasingly doubtful on any statistics as they are complied differently internationally and seem so easy to manipulate. The 'with' aspect being just one example with us....it just gets accepted as 'of', when in practice that will vary.

As for this latest variant it seems to be almost 'vaccine like' insomuch as it appears relatively mild while being extremely transmissible. Its main effect over time may be to effectively become endemic regardless of vaccines and hence produce the herd immunity they have tried so hard to string out. As it's never going away that's the least worse outcome.

It's becoming increasingly hard for them to justify their hysteria.
