My principles are unaffected by where I choose to live.

I don't like busy cities. Who lives in the makes no difference at all.

I prefer quiet countryside, the coast, space, clean air, rural pubs and real ale.

Imagine my shock.

I wasn't aware of any such "behaviour" and it would be surprising if there really was any!

There will be a real problem though if we get overloaded in the summer as we only have one major hospital and that sometimes struggles at the best of times. It's difficult in places like this to have sufficient resources available when for a couple of months the population trebles.

I must admit, that did make me laugh.

Woe betide any holidaymakers who need to access the NHS whilst there though. I know a few people who regularly holidayed in Cornwall prior to the pandemic but are refusing to return due to the behaviour of the Cornish Liberation Front last summer

I went to Cornwall last August and experienced no animosity. I love Cornwall and if it wasn't for the fact I work in London I would move there in a heartbeat.

Yeah he's a complete t1t, but the sign made me laugh certainly.

Many places in the UK struggle for more than 2 months a year, with insufficient resources. If you live in Horsham, the nearest A&E is Redhill, a good half hour drive

Had a snoop on the BBS and they are against this government preparation to start extending release dates.

A report of a single jogger getting upset by a driver could happen almost anywhere. That 3 people decided to hold up a cardboard sign is hardly real news either. Not that the Mirror ever prints too much real news.

There were genuine concerns last year with people breaking the rules and using second homes and holiday parks when they were being asked not to travel. I witnessed some pretty irresponsible behaviour myself at a time when our limited intensive care facilities were getting overloaded. So for a while emotions were running a little higher than normal.

I hope things are better prepared this year and the holiday season staggered as much as possible. There won't, of course, be any overseas visitors again but they tend to stay in hotels whilst the Brits use holiday parks and caravans. We'll see.

As I said they struggle at the best of times but when your population trebles just for a short time then it produces a difficult situation that I doubt is mirrored in Horsham or too many other places in the UK. Maybe the Lake District is similar.

Nice to hear. Many of those whose jobs have been found can be done from home are making the move.

Get here asap. It's one of the best decisions I have ever made. We welcome all nice, friendly people.

I suspect there may be some overseas visitors, as they have continued to enter throughout the pandemic, obviously not in the usual numbers
