It's amazing, isn't it? Anything that happens which is a positive must be Brexit, but any negatives, even when demonstrably linked to Brexit, are nothing to do with Brexit.

When the bar is 'Christmas will be fine', you know it's gone to sh*te.

Yes. Bungle was rejoicing in an interview the other day saying we will have turkeys!Wow, we are truly coming up in the world, lets hope someones picking the potatoes to go with it, win win !

Shell is not so much about brexit to me, but an example of how hedge fund managers can manipulate international businesses, even countries, for an advantage, in this case tax.

And these are the people with the power over climate, not citizens.

The COP really demonstrated their power, governments and their countries had only worthy speeches.

OK , yeah, just look at the biggest companies paying nothing here, amazon and uber for years, uber had a telephone line as an office in Amsterdam, paying nothing in the uk, nice!

Don"t give them any ideas ASCP, desperate times bring desperate measures!

I have some news for you! No-one "celebrates" bad news! It's always a matter of sadness. The point being made is that just about everything that was predicted, and dismissed as "Project Fear" is happening, and almost nothing that was predicted by the Brexiteers is.

No-one suggests that many of the problems would have arisen, whether we stayed in or came out. The pandemic has caused many of them, but things like a shortage of lorry drivers would still have happened. As would the shortage of materials.

That's not the point. Brexit has made things worse, not better, just when we had another setback to cope with.

Why are there so many vacancies, forcing wages higher as employers outbid each other and causing inflation?

Many EU workers returned to their home countries during the lockdowns and now either cannot come back, or don't want to. This causes skill shortages. Ideological controls restrict the relaxing of the rules. It's a disaster which ought never have happened, causing inflation which makes us all poorer.

Yeah, but besides all that it has been a resounding success!

There never was any such plan.

Now we are seeing the reality of their gross deception.

And the dimness of the brexiteer generation.

Gross deception steeleye? Are you saying the 350 million a week wasn"t true?

Some people are still stuck in 2016.

Some people are still stuck in 1966.

Some here are still stuck in 1936. It wouldn't be difficult to work out which side of the barricades in Cable St people here would be on, or what colour shirt that some might be wearing.

Some here are still in 1066, seeking in vain to keep out immigrants from France. As that all worked out rather well in the end, perhaps it will again!

2016 was a very bad year. On both sides of the pond. No-one wants to be stuck there.

There we go again, blaming Brexit on " dim " voters.

Were the Red wall voters just dim or dim and racist?

A lie will travel half way around the world before the truth has got it's shoes on.

When conceited septuagenarians opine , best to ignore.
