So I regard your sarcasm rather ironically.

Actually that is completely untrue. 50 years ago I was concerned about it, and about the impact it would have on our way of life. Part of my family were living in Southall and upped sticks to relocate to Cornwall, which gave me my first taste of here. They hated the smell of curries in their street!

Now I look at the progress and work ethic of the Indian community and see what a tremendous contribution they have made to our country. In so many ways they are now role models to aspire to.

Of course not all have made that progress but it shows it can be done.

Brexit Failure according to the Guardian.

[Link]

Our trade with Japan has slumped after we signed a new deal.

Wow how much did it slump by? 400m which in the overall scheme of things is not huge (4% approx) I would not call it a slump more a decrease.

Why did it slump then? Oh all due to Brexit and Liz Truss.

So no other factors then? Of course not this is the Guardian other opinions are not available.

Well I'm still going to have my say. The deal was signed in Oct 2020 when we were still in covid mode, in fact Japan has only come out of that in the last few months so perhaps that might have something to do with it? Also there is a little matter of a global recession.

It maybe that this is a lousy deal but until we have recovered from the after shocks of covid and Ukraine and the recession it is pointless to make comparisons and blame it on Brexit.

Still why let the facts get in the way of a good Brexit rant.

Badger, you should know by now that Brexit is the cause of all evil. Just wait until the sky falls in
