Sorry old bean, I'm just not as interested as you in constantly referring to race. Especially so with delusionists living in near totally white conservative Cornwall.

As for the medical stuff, it's just a lie to say we didn't have enough staff to meet demand, it's purely political choice......Besides, If you want more staff you pay the money and design the job role to attract the applicants. You are just making excuses to brain drain foreign countries.

Quoting you! That's what "" are for!

You might say you aren't interested. I say that's because you cannot without incriminating yourself. Taking the 5th is pretty disingenuous, isn't it?

What on earth Cornwall has to do with this heaven knows. You seem to justify every attempt at avoiding an uncomfortable question by a reference to where I live.

I lived in Wisbech for longer than I have in Cornwall. My perception of Wisbech was that there were far fewer "coloured" faces there than there are here. Lots of Eastern Europeans, including Russians with Latvian and Estonian passports, but they, of course had the "right" skin colour.

If you think we had enough staff to meet the demand you are deluded. We didn't, and don't now.

Whether we ever could is an enormous question that would take decades and huge investments to solve. Don't that though stop you being as big an expert on this as you are on everything else. Remember, my wife is a nurse. She works in a hospital setting. She talks to doctors. We talk to each other. I am not an expert but I am informed.

While you are pretty much a troll I would never say you can't make your arguments. I've always supported free speech, whether I agree with the opinions or not.

As for my opinions being in the minority, I don't think they are.....Leave won Brexit on the immigration argument. I just think you just can't accept realities you don't like.

Edited by Stirlingsays (12 Dec 2022 9.39pm)

If it was only your opinion on Brexit that was to be considered then you would have had a point. In 2016! Just! In 2022? I very much doubt it.

It isn't though just Brexit. Some quite reasonable people were taken in by the jam tomorrow ideas of the Brexit campaign. Very few were strong Eurosceptics. Even fewer hold the type of right wing fantasies and conspiracy theories that you cling to, using copy and paste, and Americanised spelling, to promulgate ideas you claim as your own.

That's the reality and I don't like it at all.

Quoting me? Four times? You're far more obsessed than I ever could be.

I've literally discussed this topic for years on Hol.....Honestly some of the waffle you come out with beggars belief.

I honestly get bored saying the same stuff on repeat. I'm just not interested in having a ding dong with you over your favourite race topic.

The hypocrisy of it p1sses me off, so I mention it whenever I feel like it. People promoting principles that they themselves don't live by is a huge red flag. If you really loved 'diversity' then you would choose to live in a diverse area....it's fake.

'Diversity for thee, not for me'.

The only aspect I can really agree with here is that taking the situation back to where it should be would take enormous work to undo the damage done by generations of politicians.

It's not going to happen, however, I will point out the sh1te sandwich because unlike you old bean I still have my taste buds.

The comment at 10.04 says nothing but speaks volumes.

There is no need to dissect it, especially as it's a mess already, but if ever evidence was needed that these claims cannot be defended when probed, this is it.

Diversion onto the nonsensical idea that I cannot make observations on something based on where I live, rather than actually deal with the issue, is just the usual tactic.

When I consider that there is probably a greater diversity where I now live, in Cornwall, than where I used to live in Wisbech, it raises my eyebrows.

If it's so important to only live in the middle of the biggest examples of a diverse area before expressing an opinion, why does anyone who lives in Wisbech have the temerity to do so?

I don't advocate for 'diversity' hence I'm not a hypocrite living where I live.....though Wisbech is becoming slowly diverse and isn't the area it once was, I'm noticing more house moving signs....I will be moving at some point.

Amusingly you moved out of Wisbech before the diversity happened.....Your last two places...both highly conservative and highly white.

I'm noticing a theme.

Actions, not words always reveal the far deeper actual truth.

Wisbech was where I bought a business to keep me occupied during semi-retirement. Cornwall where I fully retired, because of its beauty, peace and mild climate.Neither ethnic make up, nor the colour of skin, is of any concern on who I share the neighbourhood with. What matters is solely behaviour. So long as people are respectful and polite all are fine with me.

I find it sad and shameful that any of my fellow countrymen still make judgements on ethnicity and skin colour, when such things have no direct influence on behaviour and using them as determinants has the capacity to encourage poor behaviour. Treat people fairly and with respect and you are more likely to receive it.

I don’t advocate for diversity. I accept it as part of today’s world. It isn’t a choice. It just is, so coming to terms with it is essential unless you see tilting at windmills a useful occupation.

Why would anyone be interested in why you " bought a business ", why do you keep adding supposed personal details that are not relevant.

Based on your reality I suspect the business was a a pitch at a car boot sale

and btw, you will find ethnicity has a lot to do with the horrendous behaviour in the grooming scandals nationwide as an example.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Well at least your not using the lame old excuse that you had to move to a nice white area to look after the wife's sick mother.

Spicy.

We miss DanH, I wonder how he's getting on, anyway we hope he has a good Christmas with his young family....doing his Ali G impressions and playing his Stormzy tracks.

But honestly if you're reading this, have a good one.

George Carlin words ring even more true today than when he said them. We should remember them whenever the usual suspects start shouting about conspiracy theories.

Sure, some of them are nuts, but the idea that it doesn't go on at high levels is nothing short of gaslighting, as the recent Twitter files proved.

Many people called out social media on what it was doing and were called conspiracy theorists but they have been proven right.

Anyone who doesn't think the powerful conspire, whether they are your political tribe or not, is either lying or an idiot....and in my view some of them aren't idiots. The powerful rarely get to that position playing nice and ethical...they do whatever they think it takes and most of it is in the gutter. If they think they can get away with it they do it.

Anyway to the relevant Carlin clip....who was on the left politically.

Complete nonsense.

Anyone who's read your posts over the years knows the 2+2=5 nature of your words. I'm not going to head into speculation of why you think what you do... though I have my ideas, but frankly that's irrelevant.

Regardless, to answer this waffle, most of the world isn't diverse.....let's repeat that, most of the world isn't diverse. It's a political and legal choice who is and isn't allowed through a country's borders: who is deported and who isn't.

I can name several countries who receive many immigration requests and just simply ignore them....Israel is one, Japan is another, both rich countries....Eastern Europe has been knocking back non European immigration since it started up....Ultimately all political choice.

The real reasons for 'diversity' and its justifications can be easily found by anybody bothering to read the relevant parts of UN, EU and WEF positions on the matter....as they are the elites influencing what happens in governments around the west.

The old, 'it's inevitable' line is just an old Blair trick which he used to justify any policies he wanted to push through which were unpopular.
