You didn't even read your own highlighted text correctly.

Maybe like your hero you are also losing your marbles.

From those who can honestly be regarded as on the left you are the clearest example of a conspiracy theorist who has ever posted on these boards from when I've been here.

I'll state it once again....and again, it was what I predicted to you years ago. There was zero evidence presented to connect Trump to the lies you and the Democrats pushed for years.

Once again, zero evidence to connect Trump to the claims made.....Even Trump's own lawyer who ended up turning against him had nothing regarding Russia/Trump and illegal collusion. All those people you mentioned....who would have sung like a canary (which is why they went after them) had nothing.

As for the The Steele dossier....do you mean that Clinton funded scam that has been shown to have nothing in it other than claims and what could be confirmed didn't have Trump doing anything illegal.

Mueller's commentary was just as much of a nothing burger as I predicted it would be. He tried to justify a deliberately politically driven investigation to distract and tangle up the Trump administration in an façade which cost the US taxpayer many wasted millions....over ten If I remember correctly and Mueller said whatever he could while not actually saying Trump was guilty of anything....Anyone who watched him give evidence saw that he was very very careful not to make the kind of claims that liars you believed made.

So when you come on here call Hrolf and others a 'conspiracy theorist'. Realise that there are many who laugh at your lack of self awareness.

Thanks for the laughs that gave me. For you to suggest I have a "lack of self awareness" actually made me laugh out loud. Coming from you that is really rich.

That you perceive me as "on the left" says 100 times more about your own political position than ever it does mine. I detest leftish politics almost as much as I do yours on the extreme right. I am, once again, a fiscal conservative with a social conscience.

If you bothered to read what I wrote the ONLY reason the evidence wasn't presented was because of Barr's ruling. Not that it doesn't exist. There is circumstantial evidence in plain sight. Michael Cohen was kept at arms length on the politics. He handled the personal stuff. He fixed the scandals. His evidence was all to do with denying payoffs and nothing to with Russia. Trump's WH counsel Don McGahn, who feared being set up as the fall guy over the obstruction of justice charges, had refused Trump's request to sack Mueller, threatening to resign instead. He did eventually resign and could yet be a key witness.

Does asking your WH counsel to sack the special investigator who is investigating you seem like the action of an innocent man?

Mueller was cautious with his words in front of the Congressional committee and said that his report spoke for itself. That report had been carefully constructed and heavily redacted and I suspect he did not want to compromise any future indictments with misplaced comments that could be used by a defence team. Seems wise to me.

So if you think all Mueller produced was a "nothing burger" then you are living in cloud-cuckoo-land. This was a very thorough and serious investigation into the most disgraceful episode in recent US political life.

Until, of course, Trump topped it with the "stolen election" lie.

Wisbech Eagle calls himself a conservative when the only people on this forum who support his politics or post in support of him are progressives on the left.

And there are small C conservatives who post here...and I don't know of one who's ever posted agreeing with your posted views.

You call yourself a conservative WE....no one on the actual right believes you. It's one of your numerous porky pies.

There was no resistance to investigations though. That is just another conspiracy theory. Courts and their Judges investigated and repeatedly found there weren't cases to answer or that any miscalculations were simply errors that had no impact on results.

People went out of their way, many of them responsible and hard-working Republican officials and lawmakers, to try to reassure and show that democracy and the rule of law had prevailed. Nothing though satisfied those who had been wound up to believe a lie.

That you repeat that lie now just demonstrates how invasive this technique can be.

There seems to me to be an obvious distinction in credibility between an unproven, but reasonably possible, explanation of an event and the type of things generally described as conspiracy theories. The latter might stitch together some real events as their foundation but will then add layers of improbabilities designed to reach conclusions which support specific prejudices.

Those who believe in conspiracy theories won't, of course, either see or believe that. That's the nature of their prejudices dominating reason.

There you go again.

One more time. Calling something a conspiracy theory does not have any baring on its accuracy.

Your prejudice is clear, and it seems that you will happily trust any organization or body that supports that prejudice without question.

Without evidence the case remains unproven, but don't try and tell me that you actually care what the truth is.
You only care about defending your politics at all costs.

You are on the bias thread saying that the Mueller report would put Trump in jail and here you are saying that I'm the one living in 'cloud-cuckoo-land'.

Well, that's certainly a hoot that much is true.

My own opinion of you, that I can safety write here, is that you're quite an intelligent pathological liar, which amusingly is reasonably close to Trump himself.

I too would agree that you are on the left, in fact, there is no doubt.

I would also describe you as having a lack of self awareness. Just my opinion of course.

As I have no interest at all in who supports me, or not, I fail to see the significance of that comment. My views are my own. What on earth is the "actual right" and who are you to define it anyway? There are many shades of conservatism. You are certainly on the right though. So far on the right though that you exclude yourself from belonging to mainstream conservatism. You are no more a conservative than I am a socialist.

Making any kind of claim without evidence cannot of itself be disproved. If you don't have the evidence to prove, you also don't have the evidence to disprove. That much is true.

However, it's interesting that over the years that conspiracy theories have blossomed into something of the dangerous art form that they are today, not one of them, that I can recall, has ever subsequently been proven to have been true, or even partly true.

This is then substantial circumstantial evidence to suggest, at the very least, a very high probability that the current ones are also untrue.

I look for evidence to support assertions and have provided some to support mine.

They are, as you know perfectly well, a great deal more than than "unproven contentions and excuses". There is a lot still to happen, so patience is needed before this is all concluded. Mueller's report may well provide the basis for the indictments which see Trump in jail. Unless his prior financial crimes don't get there first. The only reason it wasn't Mueller's team that indicted him was Barr's intervention. The files are now in other hands, notably in NY, biding their time.

Time will tell whether the decision is taken to indict or whether he is allowed to quietly fade into obscurity. On whether he could be indicted I have no doubt whatsoever. Whether he is may be a political judgement. I would regret that as I don't think politics should ever interfere with justice and hope it doesn't.

What a joke!

You start off but playing the game of definitions and 'who are you' to define it....and then you laughingly go onto defining your opinion on Tom's politics and undermine what you had just written.

The lack of self awareness is out the park.

That is both factually and legally untrue.

All you have are unproven contentions, which you spent years presenting as agreed facts.

Provide evidence that without Barr's rulings that Mueller had some evidence on Trump collusion that would have convicted Trump.

The Democrats literally spent years and millions on them and came up with nothing.

You are a conspiracy theorist who can't walk it back.
