There's always exceptions. You are probably right about Londoners but I bet they know where Scotland is, even if the detail of what happens there is a mystery.

Oh, well that's alright then. Being able to point out part of the small island on which you live makes you aware of developments in foreign affairs.

That's very patronising. How many people in London have the slightest clue about what happens in Scotland or Wales? Very few in my experience.

Tbh in wales sheep are partners and in Scotland they’re always pissed or jacked up.
You see at least I do my research

And impressively thoroughly too. A deep fried pizza washed down with a bottle of Buckfast and couple of lines is the breakfast of champions.

It's far beyond a joke now. Pray he somehow gets the nomination in 2024.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Possibly because Americans don't get as much holiday entitlement and travel abroad is difficult for them. If you live in Oklahoma and have to keep up with news from all over a country the size of the USA your interest in foreign affairs is likely to be less.

When I first travelled to the US, it was difficult to get any world news on TV.
Up until relatively recently I believe a large percentage of US nationals did not hold a passport.
Having interviewed thousands of Americans I do concur that, for many, world geography is not their specialised subject.

Sigh, what I don't get is why they need outsiders to come into school and read to kids in the first place. Don't the teachers do anything these days!

Complete nonsense coming to the UK pretty soon.

They want to brainwash the kids with their own ideologies. That's how a lot of them think, they tend not to have many of their own kids but they use the state to indoctrinate yours.

They were leaving this till they were older but now they want to get at them younger and younger.
