You had the opportunity to find out a little of the reality of Khan's London but chose not to take it.

Maybe because I think it’s more important? I decided I didn’t like city life 60 years ago and am now firmly a country lover. Not because of my neighbours, but the crowds, noise and impatience.

I have little interest in London now, other than Palace.

I followed Trump for years before he became well known because of my US friends.

I don’t restrict my interest just to what happens in the UK.

You should not even consider having to try tbh. Me, yes I don’t actually think it’s normal but wouldn’t stoop to insults; if me not believing it’s normal contributes then I can only accept I may be wrong in certain eyes but that’s the beauty of opinions.

If you really want to see the suicide rate decrease, then you should.

If you don’t actually care, as it seems, then you won’t.

Eventually you will change your mind. You won’t even realise you have. It will just start to feel normal and no longer an issue.

Just think though how many lives you could help to save by making an effort.

Coming up with nonsense to explain statistics which are worse than before and finding ways to blame anything other than the changes they wanted.

I've long since realised that exposing the left's double standards and hypocrisies gets us nowhere. They don't care....it's about winning and that's all power cares about....they will use language to justify just about anything.....just like they put 'phobe' on the ends of words to create their idea of a 'bad think' person.

There has never been a point debating with liars and lunatics. We can only wait until such a time as when the culture puts these fruitcakes back into their box.

Here we go again. Blaming everything that doesn’t fit a worldview on those considered “leftists” when it’s blindingly obvious that the term is not remotely understood. Then claiming that true conservatism is defined by their own narrow fringe version of it.

It’s all complete garbage of course. It’s an excuse to blame others without having a semblance of a realistic alternative.

Toss in a few of the usual insults, stir well and serve up to the fellow travellers to keep their prejudices well fed.

I don’t know how many times I need to say it but I have no time at all for genuine leftish policies. I believe in capitalism. I also believe in social responsibility.

Most decent conservative thinkers do as well. They aren’t hard right ideologues, who express sympathy for Britain First and praise Orban.

Only leftists care what this far left 'one nation conservative' thinks.

Just a parody that keeps on giving....go find another gay nudist beach to stumble into.

RIP for your friend Tim, that's not a happy story.

Interestingly enough, whilst I continue to vehemently argue against it, I am not adverse to considering examples such as the one you have described to have some credence.

What I do object to however, is when something which may seem like a '1 in x amount' absolute rarity suddenly becomes some sort of mainstream movement and the efforts to understand it become obfuscated by political dogma promulgated by failures who want things such as gender neutral changing rooms and toilets just so they can alter the world ever so slightly to justify their inadequacy. What's even more shocking is not just the imposition of this bonkers ideology upon adults but children too.

You have presented your friend as somebody who just wanted to gain an understanding or solution to their questions/problems etc. without any other motivation. Anybody in that cart I would only wish the best for them and of course support. I really do think the somewhat pseudoscience behind this is terrifying too, it is to a certain extent experimental and Mengele-esque. Having spent much of my childhood on Stanstead Road (Forest Hill end) and playing home matches at the Power League on Sunday, I would however still be inclined to think living in Catford can be more detrimental to both physical and mental wellbeing.

I completely agree with your sentiment here, and so would my late friend. But it's not a good idea to bring in the Nazi card, as there are genuine instances of dysmorphia/dysphoria.

Safe spaces for whoever is not an option. But safe spaces for a majority is a must.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

There is surprisingly little medical research on a lot of aspect that impact the Trans community, suicides rates for one and how successful the process has been e.g. do they regret it.

Mainly this is because researchers are scared because of the shameful bullying and threats and lack of support from their own bosses when it happens, so they leave well along.

There's not enough or psychological or psychiatric assessment of people, particularly young people, because of the backlash from the screaming minority.

Someone on this site is screaming for the minority.

I agree there are genuine cases that deserve sympathy.... perhaps sympathy is the wrong word as it's condescending....maybe understanding is a better word....but that isn't the same thing as positive promotion of a damaging lifestyle.

The vast majority of girls and boys both identify with and need positive male and female role models. These should be positive versions of masculinity and femininity, with the understanding that everyone has versions of it and rarely perfectly matches any model. But the idea that no models or framework should exist just throws the younger generations to the wolves in my opinion....those without good parents can be lost and often are...especially today, a huge amount of damage is out there.

The idea that all lifestyles are equal in worth is a lie, both statistically and practically.....We should be trying to help younger generations, not confuse them and make them willing prey both to degenerates and the mentally ill.....When I went to school, teachers would warn us to stay away from the kind of people that society today paints as positive.

I'm essentially against transgenderism as something that society should be promoting at all. However, I pretty much agree with all your commentary on it where you raised an excellent real life example.

I remember Quentin Crisp from my younger days and he always struck me as someone with this mental condition who was actually very noble and in many ways wise....he certainly wasn't the snowflake nor politically correct creature that the alphabet community like to promote today.

Absolutely agree with this, but you missed out actually saying they need a mother/father upbringing.

That is what has promoted all the confusion about sexuality. Lots of children had doubts about their sexuality when I grew up, but they had role models to guide them. Now we have many more single parents and messed up kids and excess poverty, leading to more confused and sexually maladjusted kids, excess crime, drug abuse, etc. And the state appear to be complicit.

I agree 100%, the screaming minority faction have created a society where jobs and pensions are at risk for having an opinion.

The Tavistock Centre, now closed, will end up paying millions in compensation which will come from........the taxpayer.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I mention good parents later on however we are in complete agreement. The state have definitely been both negligent and complicit since it abandoned promoting normalised family role models.

Vulnerable children are now utterly at the whim of freaks and the social norms that once intervened now cheer on.

The mentally ill are normalised and celebrated instead of being recognised as ill and that's coming at great cost.

I care that this is being normalised as a go to option. Cutting up bodies because these kids are actually told it’s ok, don’t worry you will feel a lot better when it’s done.
Counselling to find the root cause of wanting it done should be the go to place. Explaining the risk and reward and the figures show both mentally and physically having it done is the riskiest. Until an open discussion for public consumption and input without the threat of cancelling or prosecution is had then many more kids into ‘adulthood’ will swing themselves I’m afraid.

Yet more evidence that the majority are being forced to give way to the minority viewpoint.

Norwich Council virtue signalling against Transphobia. As some of the women's rights groups state they do not explain how their "rights" will be protected.
