Possibly a Championship loan with an instant recall clause might put the polish on him. Outside of that is the preseason and possibly he could stand out and make his case before the new season. Whatever way it goes it must be close to make your mind up time for club and player.

O’ Brian, in particular must be close to coming into the frame, two successful loans, and followers in the Championship. Possibly a Championship loan with an instant recall clause might put the polish on him.

We showed quite clearly in the last ten games (most of which Zaha missed) that we can gain points without him. Yes, he can still have moments when he excites the crowd but those moments are becoming rarer. His single goal since the World cup was that virtual tap in in the win over West Ham. Can't recall his other contributions to the goals we scored since the World Cup. There may have been one or possibly two but they don't stand out for me.
