No shortage of potential interest in Wilf.

They obviously can spot a bargain.

Classic agent marketing.

The key sentence in that report being that ‘there is nothing concrete on the table yet’.

Interesting to see that Wilf’s agent keeps putting it to the press that we’ve offered him £200k per week for 4 years. This again has to be bollox because that sort of money would be pure madness from us.

Zaha's a good player on his day...

But he's ,lost the spark, the passion he had at the start. It happens, it's understandable..

He goes to a European club he has everything to gain, he'll want to impress and get that fame he failed getting at united, that recognition - he wants to be a medal winner.

Now, he has the potential, but it's now or never and he has I would say 2 seasons to do It.

Trouble is, his attitude, in my opinion has always been lacking something - the issues at united, the social media posts - you compare that to the top players, there's no comparison.

I wish him well... he's been great for us, but life does move on and so will palace.

Eze reportedly cost us £18M and Olise £9M. That £27M investment is now worth Circa £80M in potential transfer fees alone….maybe more. This whole idea that it’s too costly to replace Wilf and we should pay him an obscene amount of money in wages is absolutely ludicrous.

True and however disappointed people might be to see Wilf leave I imagine QPR and Reading fans are more disappointed.
It's football's food chain and our part in it; the difference between those clubs with the most money and everyone else is that they can exchange like for like when one of their stars leave.

From my own personal perspective I hope Wilf does leave. He’s not a huge integral part of the team these days, unlike he was 3 or 4 seasons ago. Yes obviously he’s a great player however we have shown recently we are a very good side without him.

Iconic players have left before, Byrne, Wright, Johnson, the club will survive, time to move on for both parties.

Only 18 days till his contract ends, FFS make a decision

A decision has been made, same as the manager, its just they aint gonna tell us until start of pre-season . . .

i think Wilf made his decision immediately after the low ball Arsenal and then Everton bids were rejected 4 years ago. I could understand his disappointment with Arsenal (however, offering only £40m and then signing Pepe instead for £72m had nothing to do with Palace), however, Everton FFS.

That season he was terrible and pretty much sulked his way through every game. During the next year or so i read he had changed agents 2 or 3 times and at one point signed up with one of the 'mega' agents in order to get a move. None materialised.

In the last few years he has knuckled down and his performances have improved, although he is not the player he was 5 or so years ago.

I suspect the advice he was given was keep your head down, take your big salary and when you are a bosman the offers will come. I think a 2 year offer from any Champions League club is a no brainer.

The PSG story kind of makes sense. A relatively cheap option for them. Wilf saves face. - Champions League football . He doesn’t play against us. Could be win,win,win..
Oh and could commute from Purley.

I dont know if he still lives in Woldingham, if he does 5mins to Biggin Hill, 3/4m for a private jet (if he hasn't got one already), and Bobs your Uncle.

I'm predicting that Wilf will stay, and it will be announced just before the window closes to help disguise the fact that we haven't spent much money again.

I apologise in advance to all those concerned if I'm wrong.
