I was a chelsea fan but then i went to a palace game with my mum and that and since then i go to all the home games and most of the away games. its hard for me cos all of my mates support westham, chelsea, millwall, arsenal, and I gEt so much s**t of them but at the end of the day who gives a s**t wot any one else thinks... I still like chelsea that cant go away if u know wot i mean.

Well my adoration for Palace began about 12 years ago. I was 5 at the time, and up until that point, being quite oblivious to the football league in general, let alone my complete lack of comprehension for Geography, i supported whoever the person i was close to at the time supported. my support wavered between tottenham and Man U im sorry to say, but fortunately it was never real support, just empty words.
then one day, and close frind of mine (who, ironically is still my best mate) told me of Crystal Palace, who i'd heard of, but not met any fans of at that time. So i asked my dad about the club which i now adore greatly, and he decided to take me to a game as i kept on about it. I cant remember if it was Nottm Forest or Charlton we played that afternoon, but I remember a 2-0 win for our boys!
After that i was completely hooked, and it wasn't until 2 years later, under the captaincy of Geoff Thomas, with our Tulip sponsored shirts made by Bukta, that i got to see them again, and promptly bought my very first replica shirt, well my mum did!
Ever since then i've gone at least 5 times a season, and held a season ticket for three years. Sadly, due to work commitments, i havent renewed my season ticket this year, and so have only managed one measly game, which i am trying desperatley to rectify.
I, despite recent problems, and lack of seeing the club this year, am still deeply in love with the club as though it were something out of a Jane austen Novel!
Quite apt that the person who introduced me to the club is the most loyal friend i've ever had the privelage of meeting, definitely something ironic about that!

Watching the 5-0 win over mancky Utd in December 72 on Star Soccer on the Sunday Afternoon.

Just passed my 30th anniversary.

First match - at Northampton Town in torrential rain, a 3-0 defeat in the 76/77 promotion season. Peter Wall had slagged off NT after the 1-1 draw at Selhurst earlier in the season. CP promoted - NT relegated.

Father and mother are both supporters i think my first game was a 2-2 with Notts Forest in 1990/1991 season. The season after that i got my season ticket for the holmesdale - i remember i wasn't quite big enough to stand on the terrace so ended up standing down at the front, where a certain program seller would walk past trying to sell his wares. Just trying to get back down in to the south east so i can get my season ticket for the holmesdale next season.

My dad used to go to the games as a kid cos his dad was a policeman and took him when he was on duty at selhurst (not quite sure how he got away with that!).
so then my dad influenced me. i remember almost deciding to support liverpool instead, but my dad pointed out that as we live 5mins from selhurst park and can see it from our garden that i should support my local team.
and i've lived with the stress of being a palace fan ever since!

My Dad has supported Palace since the Allison era.

My Grandad did support Palace, but after he moved to Eastbourne, about 7 years ago, he now supports the Seaweed!
