Shocking.
I drank in The Albany off and on in the 80’s / early 90’s and it wasn’t a posh Fitzrovia pub then. It was a bog standard Taylor Walker boozer just off the Euston Road but I don’t remember anyone getting glassed.

I think some of the prostitutes not on hard drugs lived in there. Letting fraud etc going for decades no doubt. COYP

I remember being in there once on Waitangi Day (start of February) the barman was a Kiwi and was wearing one of their traditional short kilts. The window was broken and snow started blowing in - after a while we were standing in a snow drift at the bar. We only stayed because it was fun watching him turn blue.

10 years ago I posted on here how a gang kicked the front door in of my mums house & held a machete to her throat whilst they helped themselves to whatever they liked then left.

It took a decade but I'm pretty sure karma has got one of them.
