If supporters were in the ground, high-decibel boos would have rung out long before the end, and those poor supporters who stayed until the end would have made their feelings known in no uncertain terms as Mr Hodgson made his way to the tunnel. The lack of supporters has helped save Hodgson. De Boer was an unmitigated disaster but that Burnley game at least we had a go and losing was bad luck as much as anything, Can’t imagine us laying siege under any circumstances with RH in charge.

I have seen 9-0 bashings 6 nill 5 nill . i can understand losing 7 nill to Liverpool 4 nill to Chelsea City and all the so called better teams . but to be turned over by west ham at home . its f***ing embarrassing the rot is spreading through the team like wild fire . Shame on you all ! Don’t worry mate , it’s only football.....I’ve been coming to Palace since early 1960s,you think this is bad, think again...lol

A collapse has long been on the way, with an ageing, mismanaged team without ideas or tactical qulity. This is worse than England - Iceland. Even if we are at 23 points, it is not realistic to get 36 - 38, far from with so much quality, also managerwise, in teams Start rebuilding now with the aim of building a team than can win promotion from the Championship playing football.

I have been speaking to supporters who were in the "Roy In" camp and they have switched allegiance. These are not people prone to knee-jerk reactions. Edited by Willo (26 Jan 2021 8.12pm)

No Palace fan can accept the abject lack of effort against a rival and this is getting worrying now.

We are in seriously deep trough. Should Roy stay? I previously would have said yes, until the end of the season. Now, though, he really looks to have lost it, and has no answer as to how to change things around. Jesus wept that was awful. We literally look like a bunch of kids playing with jumpers for goal posts. There have been some horrific performances this season but that has got to be up there with the worst. I can’t see Roy getting sacked at this stage of the season but he definitely needs to finish up at the end of the year and most of that squad need to go with him.

Could it be that we're missing Kouyate in midfield?

Their system totally outflanked ours. Look at the engines on their DMs Soucek and Rice they have the ability to join the attacks too while ours look like they are running in treacle. To get the best out of Eze we need to go 4-2-3-1 with him in the centre of the 3. There is a certain Mr Lampard looking for a job. Anybody?

Lucky we've had the foresight and vision to bring in a load of capable young replacements and let them get used to the Premier League and used them in the Cups this season.
