I find it staggering how little self-awareness you actually have. The overt racist abuse received as well as those like you trying to pretend there is no issue in society show how absolutely necessary what they are doing is.

Most of the bias within British society is placed against the poor white working and or under-class.

Remove ‘white’ from that and I agree with you completely - it’s not just white people, it’s all of them. The poor working/under class are completely screwed over and have been forever.

Mmmmm...there's some truth in that, however whites get it worse....and I've proved it on here before....university places, funding levels.

I have no idea what self awareness has to do with it but are you aware that most of this abuse comes from abroad?

How much abuse do you remember hearing about before BLM and the SKY Sports campaign?
This has all been orchestrated by the media. partly for sensationalism and also as a side effect of the campaign against Trump.
The George Floyd fallout and taking the knee had no business being here but it serves a political purpose in the USA. This country is far worse for it. It will achieve absolutely nothing of value to the common man.

I believe the worst performing at school etc are white underclass, pakistani and non African black. Best are posh white, Indian, Chinese and Far Eastern.
I put it down to parenting and hard work, but no doubt there is a proven theory.

Maybe, maybe not, hell in some respects I probably agree.

However, it's about who is funded what and who gets places to what....which scholarships get accepted and which get denied.

I mean this is a huge topic that could go on and I think we’re probably actually fairly aligned for once on a lot of it. I’m just as passionate about lifting the white working class up as any other held back demographic. A lot of the black on black crime we see has it’s roots in poverty and falling into gangs to try and make some perceived easy money as well as coming from broken homes.

I think you’re being quite selective with what you are looking at to being able to declare that ‘whites have it worse’ but the common factor in those held back is that they are poor, stuck in a poverty trap and with very little opportunity, whether they are white, black, Asian or any other background.

Unfortunately we’re governed by those born into privilege who don’t actually really care about the poor, and for all the talk of ‘levelling’ up it doesn’t actually transpire into action.

While capitalism is the only system which actually works in practice, one of its facets is that for people to get rich it requires people to be poor. The Tories know this and owe their wealth and privilege to it so have no real interest in actually levelling the playing field.

What this knee issue has done has really put them on the back foot - they believe these kids kicking a ball of air around in an England shirt are working class idiots who would be working in McDonalds if they weren’t brilliant at football. They didn’t calculate that a lot of that England squad are educated, erudite and street smart young men who also know what it’s like to be poor as well as rich, so are far more in touch with the working class and how much of a struggle life is for millions. They have won over the public’s hearts this summer and the Tories have been caught massively on the wrong side of the argument and have quickly realised that this week with the attempted back tracking.

So you admit that taking is largely a political device designed to undermine the government. You are starting to see the light.

Bleeding hell Dan! You want to write a long post at ten o'clock instead of the usual single line jobs! I'm all long posted out now.

I'll have a poke around it tomorrow.

Nice try I certainly don’t believe it was to undermine the government at all - the government have done a good enough job of undermining themselves with their stance on the issue.

I believe it’s an anti-racist gesture to support their team mates who suffer racist abuse and are using their global platform to make a stand on it. I think they knew it would cause a stir and make people uncomfortable, so political in that sense, but these boys seem to be comfortable of taking on the mantle of role models to kids all over the globe and won’t just ‘stick to football’.

Haha sorry no rush. Apologies for any grammatical errors/typos - was typed out quite quickly on my phone and back from a pre-season football training session so too knackered to proof read.
