As Becky has already said, the majority of women using the clinics are over 30.

And as I said, they are not.

Not many people having an abortion are in a 'pro-abortion lobby', funnily enough that isn't how it works. I think you would find it hard to point at any individual that enjoys an abortion, or chooses to have one without considerable heartache.

So in the UK silently praying is now legally harassment and/or intimidation sufficient to be arrested?

Beyond ridiculous

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The pavement, or path as it is known, along which people walk to the clinic. Not, for example, on the other side of the road. I didn’t say she blocked their path. But she sure as hell could not be overlooked, she was there to make her silent, maleficent, presence known.

That just sounds silly.

Not touching anyone, not stopping people getting to work, not damaging private property.

In other words a a valid protest.

The country I grew up in doesn't exist anymore.
This country has become ridiculous.

Sigh

No it isn't

The Policeman had little choice as Isabel forced him to arrest her in order to investigate the situation. I am in little doubt she won't be found guilty

There is 'form' in this case, otherwise restrictions around the abortion centre wouldn't have been in place.
It's about context. For example, a muslim in ceremonial garb occasionally 'silently praying' next to Lee Rigby's grave, might give cause for the Rigby family to feel threatened or intimidated.

OK, I think it better that you describe how it would feel for a young woman walking down the pavement on which Isabel is standing. Walking past, possibly brushing past, someone half standing in the bushes, partially hidden until you come close, staring and clearly with some mantra going around and around in her head. Saying nothing.

I tell you what, there is only one way to sort this out. Let's each write a poem entitled my day out at the Robert Clinic. We have to use a bit of imagination. Best poem wins the award.

Not sure how it can be clear that a mantra is going around and around in someone else's head - unless you are a mind-reader?
When I go to a football match, I often have to walk close and brush past others going to the match - I suspect some of them are silently praying too. Can't say it intimidates me.

OK, another analogy from previous Prem years.

Newcastle fans in lower Holmesdale, in noocastle shirts. 2 of them.

Not being raucous or intimidating, just watching the match. Removed by stewards less than 10 minutes into the game.

Standing stock still, staring at you and half hidden by undergrowth? When you are feeling at your lowest ebb? And probably fairly clearly from the opposition fan base (have you seen what Isabel looks like, there could be little doubt).

Anyway, where is the poem? If you would rather, how about we debate this through the medium of expressive dance?

Or me in several pubs in years gone by. Not doing anything except keeping the till ker-chinging and taken out by the bouncers. Which is as painful as it sounds.

No offence!

I can agree with this. I can also opine that it never really did exist except in your head.

Still, your head has moved to ultra conservative America, at least the online version. Sometimes I do reckon it's a shame you are unable to think in English but, hey, you never read anything in English so I shouldn't be surprised.
