More like how does Mark have a £500,000 house, a Porsche with private plates & and alternates between an X5 & a Range Rover when only making £70k a year? All that after a divorce.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

With respect all of us have had the benefit of numerous SKY "Slo-Mos" from various angles.

Jon Moss applied the rules correctly (Direct free kick) based on his decision that contact had been made.

Stay patient Willo, someone will definitely take the bait.

Nevermind that.... Moss got the punishment wrong anyway even if it was dangerous kicking by Delaney.

He should have awarded an indirect free kick.

Lukaku's shot into goal didn't touch anybody else, so Moss should then have signalled for a goal kick to be taken.

Yeah, read my full post - if you can be bothered to scroll up. Otherwise, either Moss:

1 Thought was contact but Jagielka probably dipped in so no direct free kick; or
2 Thought no contact, so even worse - he got the award completely wrong.

The way it is sounding, Moss should be sent to the gallows when he didn't have the benefit of numerous cameras, and numerous replays in "Slo-Mos".And as I have said before, if those in the 'Wall' had done their job there wouldn't be this discussion.

No.

You are completely wrong.

Moss didn't need the help of cameras, slow-mo's or different angles.

All he needed was a proper knowledge of the laws of the game.

If he had the proper knowledge then he would have awarded an indirect kick for Delaney's offence (assuming he didn't see the handball by Jagielka).

Instead he incorrectly awarded a direct free kick which allowed Lukaku to fire home.

End of discussion for you Willo, there is no need for further input from you - thanks very much for your observations.

I'm NOT going to be silenced on this one for the simple reason that it is risible to suggest a PL referee does not know the Laws of the game.

As far as Moss was concerned, contact had been made and as such, based on this decision correctly awarded a direct free-kick.If he had noticed there was no contact he would have awarded an indirect free kick.He knows the laws of the game.

And I repeat, we are all brilliant referees when we have access to umpteen "Slo-Mos" from umpteen angles - very different for a referee at ground-level.

There really is no point in arguing with Willo/ Trolly,he thinks no referees ever get anything wrong and will defend them to the hilt, despite everyone who has ever played the game says otherwise.

Your mate Mark doesn't seem to have a clue about playing the advantage. If St Mark can display such ignorance what chance do mere mortals have?

You clearly haven't read some of my posts.

I have consistently stated that referees are only human and as such DO make err from time to time, as do managers, players etc etc.

I have also consistently stated that we all have the benefit of umpteen replays etc etc etc whereas a referee has to make a split-second decision in real-time and often his view is obscured by players in his/her way.I can totally understand why they get some decisions wrong.

What I do find galling is the assertion that a PL referee doesn't know "Advantage" or doesn't properly know all the laws. This is totally and utterly ridiculous. There is one thing knowing them and another applying them and of course from time to time they don't apply them correctly for reasons which I have already explained.

yeah but he's so high up the list, they're his rules now, they obey him, not vice versa!
