Communism would be a much better system....if it worked.

It works for ants.....But humans are obviously different. Any system that involves the repression of human nature is going to fail. Only force, repression itself and brain washing can continue it.

I recognise that we can't accept every facet of human nature because some of our drives are damaging to society at large. Also some drives in individuals may be natural to them but are very damaging...psychopaths and pedophiles for instance.

I just believe that the best systems for civil society are the ones that involve the least repression of human nature. If we can build the systems that channel our inherent selfish natures for a wider betterment then the better legacy we leave for who comes next.

Tolerance but vigilance, as other systems would gladly repress far far more. A power balance between groups should be the ideal.

My goodness.

Extremely brave (Or foolhardy !) of you to admit that you have ever perused this darned publication.

A workman once brought this 'Rag' into my house - I told him to get it out of my premise straight away and he obliged taking it to his van.

rather than continuing this silly ruse to deflect from the fact Rees Mogg is a typical hypocritical Tory, why don't you offer your sage opinions on the matter.

For avoidance of doubt, I shall NO longer respond to any of Gusset's left-wing hogwash as the effluvia contained within it is not worthy of a response, furthermore I have NO desire to provide it with the oxygen of publicity.I set my bar somewhat higher than puerile provocation.

Please accept that a non-response does not mean that I accept the bile or that I am unable to construct a firm rebuttal of it.Thank You.

More like typical Tory hypocrisy.

Can I borrow this to use on the wife when I'm obviously drunk and trying vainly to avoid unarmed combat,a full retreat but keeping your colours intact. Hmmmm, might work.
