This is a very interesting line. At what point does anyone be allowed to have their views and actions separated by their work? It seems to me that we are all very selective on this.

For example, do I have to hate Donald Trump for his success as a real estate investor because he thought grabbing pussies 10 years ago was fine? Or that he is a Republican?

But at the end of the day....I kind of like 'Beat It' and 'Johnny B Good'. We can't airbrush people out of history and it's a very black and white notion that people are only good or only bad. The debate nowadays is very puritan and tyrannical and people are afraid of anything by association. Liking A does not make you A. I can agree with B on something without being assumed that I agree with B on everything. I've thought about this too.

But at the end of the day....I kind of like 'Beat It' and 'Johnny B Good'.

We can't airbrush people out of history and it's a very black and white notion that people are only good or only bad.

I've always admired Trump as a real estate investor, yet the Totalitarian Left (eg Hollywood, the BBC, academia, Silicon Valley) tells everyone they should not in any way or form. They want to control people's speech and thoughts to suit their agenda.
