Don't be ridiculous. It's like getting a facelift and then changing your mind halfway through the operation because it hurts a bit.

If I sign up for a face lift on the promise of looking like a Hollywood star and before I'm fully under anaesthetic the surgeon is looking up pictures of Martin keown I'd want to have my say

Not necessarily. You might get murdered.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Genuine question though, has anyone actually changed their mind?
Most people I know voted remain , I am a liberal living in Brighton. They say the problems as genuine issues that weren't discussed before the referendum. My friends how voted leave believe that core issues are still valid. Can't think of any one I know who would change their vote

Wow, you keep failing to understand the most simplest of concepts don't you?

Let's take your face lift comparison. In terms of brexit here it is:

1) People are asked to vote if they want to have a faclift or not - most say yes based on the marketing from 2 surgeons, Dr Farage & Dr Johnson
2) in the coming months, they ask questions and do their own research on what the procedure entails
3) They realise that the procedure is horrific and has a very high probablity of leaving them much more ugly than they are already
4) Before the date for the operation, they vote again to cancel the appointment after realising that after their research, procedures were uncovered that they were never told about before they voted. They realised their mistake and were lied to about the procedure in the first place because the surgeons were in it just to fill their pockets with cash.
5) Dr Farage & Dr Johnson are struck off for deceiving potential patients and fraud.

Now, I made it kind of primary school level so it can be understood by the many brexiteers on here.

There had to whole-hearted consent to continue in the first referendum and the yes vote was about 70%.

But this time only 51/48 that is not neither here nor there.

Wilson would not have continued with the EU project on a 51/48 vote.

Does it matter? Yes, because a project of this magnitude must have over-whelming support to succeed.

40 years of integration has to replaced and the UK hasn't a clue how to do that, or even attempted it.

Also hardly anything is left from the reasons to leave presented in 2016, it just ain't gonna happen.

A hiding to nothing, just spoilt pride, can't face being wrong.

Every year since EU membership, more immigrants have arrived from outside the EU than from within. LEaving the EU will make zero difference to that influx because there are many, many people who have access to British passports in countries like India, which effectively give the free access to the UK whenever they like and very often that won't be anything to do with work or contributing anything financially.

I'd like you to tell me where you get your information from. I worked for Border Force for 28 years and I never "counted in" EU passport holders, so how anyone can say how many arrived/stayed/left is beyond me (don't be fooled by official statistics from "senior civil servants" I know one who said only 10,000Poles would arrive in the UK and they wouldn't stay!!). Please explain how people in India have access to British passports, I worked in a British High Commission in the sub-continent for 3 years and I obviously missede something

Er, is this not personal?

What a load of crap.

The vote on Europe wss intended to be a one off vote.
If you had 10 more referendums, there would still be 10more lots of lies and misrepresentation from both sides. That's what happens in politics for those too stupid to realise.
.

Let me ask you a simple question.

If we had another referendum and Remain lost again, would you want a third?

But you wouldn't know, because the operation isn't over and the swelling hasn't gone down.

It's called a democratic vote...derr. How do you know Wilson would not have continued?
I wonder what the first vote would have been if they knew what we know now.
Shame you dont appear to support a democratic vote, are you Linekar in disguise? Please explain what you would say if a 2nd referendum supported leave, would you carry on until you got your way? This is not my spoilt pride but I am embarrassed that this country can no longer be called a democratic society
