If the cost of the stand is to be spread amongst shareholders, either we need new shareholders via dilution of existing (to raise the alleged £45m that any lending bank will want to see) or its a no go. Today, I can't see anyone picking up the Palace to continue at Selhurst. In fact, unless it's a steal (say £50m) I can't see any potential investor coming anywhere near us. Its all such a tangle. Let's face it, building our new stand is going to cost much more than was originally budgeted. No wonder we're looking for more financial support. Reports today say that Everton's new ground is already £150m over budget.

Thought we had already tried this and the planning was rejected because local residents were in uproar. Refurbish the park and building a football stadium are completely different things, not as simple as 'jumping onboard'

Obviously there’s the more pressing matter of the manager and staying up. However, I heard rumours that work may start this summer for the new Main Stand. Has anyone heard anything more on this?

The club’s accounts published recently contain a statement from SP that work will commence before the start of the 24/25 season. He doesn’t mentionwhether that’s dependent on PL status. Interesting few months coming up…..
