With Brexit likely to run for a while yet.....God knows how many pages it'll go to.

Another attempt by the establishment to undermine Brexit.

It's hilarious to see the depths they will sink to.

An attempt by "the establishment" to undermine another part of "the establishment"? Don't kid yourself that the white posh rich boys that masterminded Vote Leave are anything other than "the establishment". They're just the bit of it that saw an opportunity to enrich themselves and take power for themselves. Their sidelining of parliament through the whole process shows how hollow their words are. The proof of their cheating shows how little they care about our democracy.

Of course, there was nothing dodgy going on in the Remain camp.
Who is kidding themselves?

Hmm good and bad in both camps.

Unless you can indicate clear electoral impropriety so bad there MUST be a re-run of the referendum, this discussion is fun but redundant. We are where we are unless there is a sufficient groundswell of public opinion that forces a re-election. 54% in the most recent poll is not enough unless this trend is sustained over many months. There are not enough months left.

The central issues thus remain:

-is leaving good or bad?
-is the route we are taking the right one to take us to the good bits?

On the latter, what is certainly bad is the uncertainty. I chatted with a Spanish woman yesterday who worked for a European pharmaceutical giant and her French husband who works for Airbus. Both have been here for years and love it here. They bought a house together and their 2 children were born here and are in school. Both their employers are long established here and employ thousands of high value (overwhelmingly British) workers in the UK. Asked about their futures and that of their companies in the UK, neither had a clue.

We are only 8 months away from leaving.

Perhaps they could jail the Brexiteers along with the Catalans. Then we could just live on a Federal Europe run by Merkel. We could all buy German goods and eat French food. Sturgeon could be our President.

Fellow palace fans, I haven't posted on here for years and have a question.

There has been lots of talk recently about a second referendum on Brexit, a people's vote etc.

Whether you voted remain or leave last time, have any of your changed your mind?

Say the choice was
1) Leave with no deal and the predicted fallout happens
2) Remain on the same terms as pre 23 June 2016

Would any of your vote differently to how you did the first time around?

Yeah, i voted to remain first time round; but would now want to vote leave...primarily because of all the bleating going on from the remoaners but also because this dilly dallying by a remainer in charge of the Tories making things worse.

I voted leave knowing full well things might be tough for a few years but my kids will be better off in the long run.

I voted leave but I'm not sure that I would again as I did so in good faith that the Government were capable of negotiating our exit but now that I know we couldn't negotiate our way out of a paper bag I would probably change my vote and hope for another referendum when we had a set of stronger Government ministers
