South Africa recently joined BRICS

Literally opting out of the petrodollar system......won't be buying the US's debt. Most people won't understand what that means, I didn't until a little while ago.

They are an incompetent, racist (which is fine by me as most countries are but it's certainly hypocritical), low educated and high crime low investment country.

But they sure have a lot of potential resources.....yum yum for some for sure.

Once whitey kicked themselves out of power it's just a shame that black South Africans never had enough of a non corrupt native educated class to take advantage of what they literally have lying in and on their ground.

BRICS....will and is coming in....more loans and then ownership to China then.

Frankly I wouldn't if I were them.

Making claims is not really the point.

It’s whether any claims have both any legal validity and acceptance by others. Only when the general understanding of society improves can the latter happen, but the first already has.

I have no intention of ever becoming anything other than British but I could become Chinese in certain circumstances, although such things are very rare.

I see nothing at all to support the assertion that I would need 50% genetics. Indeed that idea is spurious nonsense given the fact that every human shares 99.9% of their genetic make up with every other human. The truth can be found here:-

Humans in 'share the same DNA' shocker!....It's like the plane flies so far over their heads that it never existed. Until it's in their 'unique' self interests to take note of course.

I mean, Einstein shared the same DNA as the lowest IQ human being ever born. Hence as he was 99.9 percent the same there's no difference....I mean, both human, so no differences.....the fact that it's about how the genes work together and which ones do....not the fact that they are present.

I mean, humans share fifty percent of their genes with plants.....let's give plants half citizenship.

It appears that fruitcakes can be humans too.

Their journey is not complete, but it is on the way.

83 murders a day suggest they've got a long way to go.

Perhaps news still travels by post horse in the Fens but South Africa joined BRICS in 2010.

The importance of BRICS and the growth of China, India and Brazil cannot be denied though. It is a new reality. As the power of the USA declines we must ensure we have other friends too. Isolation always looked a stupid idea in 2016 and does even more so today.

For sure.

The US has just 45 per day and they are, allegedly, a civilised country.

They also have five times the population.

They are already both involving themselves with us.

China cannot be ignored, but I think Russia has to be until Putin is replaced by a regime who can be trusted.

Our natural friends are those immediately around us. That’s where we belong.

Ok I'll add the qualifier relatively recently.

As for the rest of the commentary let's just say that it literally makes no sense....the whole reason BRICS exists is precisely because of the divisions he has supported.

Sure, there will be a certain number of countries prepared to be double facing until such time as self interest pivots them.....However, I don't know if he's been noticing the world economy at all.

If you aren't the country producing energy and food.....it isn't going to be a golden era by the end of the decade....just saying.

You can't eat credit cards.

And it's also interesting when you look at the statistics of those homicides.....just saying.

I know that and that there is still much to do.

The point was not about the economic performance or the lawlessness. It was that after decades of apartheid they managed to transition away from it. Now they face the challenge of establishing a law abiding democracy. They have started a journey but there is a long way to go.
